For those guys who think that you can get into dream universities or Ivy league only by means of top GRE scores then you are wrong. I had same doubt before applying to universities and being a final year student I couldn't dedicate a lot of time for GRE. I scored 310 (very low) and I was disappointed. I had got admit from an Ivy league, two top public universities etc. during my first attempt. My tip is that if you think your GPA or GRE is low try to build your profile.
It doesn't matter whether you get admit from only one university or several universities since you can choose only one.

yes in my experience , working on foundational concepts is a necessary step , but you should have a sources of previous which really resembles the actual questions , in my case , that was 27 old exam book , however , the type of exam that I took though resembled those 27-exam like questions , it was more on the tougher end I would say , any way first concentrate on difficulty level 1,2,3 as these will let the scoring algorithm understand that you are upright on your foundations , now to get in to the 160+ on quant , you have to be able to do most if not all 4th level difficulty questions , best of luck

Massive respect for this guy, especially since I can relate to the difficulty of studying for the GRE as a full-time professional. I scored a 169 in Verbal, but got destroyed in the Quant with a 159. I scored a 170 in ETS PP1 Quant, under rigorous testing conditions. But I felt that the Quant in the actual exam was a different beast altogether. I'm suppose to take the GRE this week but hit with Covid really hard. I'm home sick as a dog and looks like I have to post-pone my exam but I will have to send my old grade to a school. I took the exam back in August just to see what was going to be on it and scored bad but it's something to send to them so they can actually process my application. How to score well in GRE verbal I'm totally pissed off, solved hundred of question gone through plenty of videos, books, and learned thousands of words, but still no luck.
Hardly I'm able to solve 6-7 questions in a 20 question set.
