Thank you for this video. And congratulations on your high score. It is a fact that standardized tests like the SAT and GRE correlate with tests designed to measure IQ. So then you have excellent cognitive abilities. I'm sure your preparation made a difference, but it's not likely your prep changed your test score substantially. I found the GRE to be absolutely grueling when I took some 30+ years ago. My primary concern was how insomnia and anxiety might affect my score. I do not remember my score, but it was enough to meet my entrance requirements for graduate school.

My final tip: some of you are night owl academics like me and the exam in your country may happen at 9 AM when you would be normally be asleep. If this is true then this is suicidal for your grades. Do the practice of 10 mock tests mentioned here exactly when the test in region might be happening in the day if possible. If you have jobs, at the very least make sure you are fully natural for months to be awake and active at that time of day. Good luck.

All the tips and strategies that I learnt in my first attempt were useless (sometimes even detrimental, instead of using a strategy, I thought of that strategy during the test, which wasted time 😤). Hi there! I have my GRE coming up this Friday and... unfortunately the past 4-5 months my studying has been inconsistent and I haven't retained a lot due to a full time job so I've pushed the date back once already yet here I am again feeling unprepared:(
Just hearing you say how it's really good to take many practice questions and tests I barely even grazed them due to being so worried about how to even solve or remember certain types of questions.
With everything you've said, I feel like I need to postpone my scheduled date
I'm so conflicted since I've already changed the date once. Would love to hear your insight on pushing back test dates. Whether I need to just suck it up and take it or be willing to suck up more money if I dont do as well as I need to. I know it's a pretty subjective situation and maybe theres nothing you can say.

All of the above are great. You named the best 3 providers, in my opinion.

I am glad that I found your channel. I have a question. How can I improve my reading skills? The problem with me is, I tend to loose the information of the previous line when I am reading the current line. So I require to read the same line twice or thrice. How to overcome this short time memory loss type of problem? Thank you. Waiting for you reply.

Hi, I have problem with expanding my vocabulary. Can u suggest which words list should I use to study?
EDIT: Currently I am referring to Barron's Verbal Workbook for Vocabulary. It has around 3000 words. Is it sufficient enough?

That is a good start. Then do Magoosh flashcard app and the 1853 most advanced Scribd list.

Do you believe ManhattanPrep's material is good for verbal section practice? I'm asking since I don't want to run out of practice material, and I'm grinding thru the 5 lbs book for quant practice right now, but I've heard conflicting advice about their verbal stuff.

It is definitely a good start. Depending on budget there is so much else to do after as well

Have you done the Magoosh one? They are a good phone app.

Having probably a month in hand for GRE, and not being an engineer and not good with maths, do you recommend picking the Manhattan 5LB for Quants ; as I feel it’s quiet intimidating and I don’t want to overload or overwhelm myself with information and get confused.
Your opinion would be really helpful.
