Hi Philip. Any tip how do I avoid making silly mistakes in math section in GRE? I end up getting 3 questions wrong every time only because of some silly mistake-either I didn't read the question properly or did some calculation mistakes. I loved watching all your videos. Thanks in advance!
Try reading the questions more slowly
@@TheTestedTutor Thanks Philip.
@@TheTestedTutor You only have around 1.5 minutes for each question. I try to read the question slowly but it takes around 2 or 1.9 minutes if I do this. How do you manage time?
Great video!
Love these trick videos!
More to come!
love your videos philip
Thanks so much Fatima
Thankyou soo much!
Great stuff!
This is gold
These are awesome thank you! When you refer to answer 'D' though, what exactly is that?
It's a GMAT answer meaning both options are alone sufficient
This is nice
Thanks
Love these videos
Thanks a lot .
Most welcome!
Kudoos..
Plz..go on with more questions..
Really awsme..
Awesome tricks
I watched almost all of your quant videos. I was almost completely familiar with all the traps and tricks in the GRE. On the test day, I freaked out a bit in the starting and lost focus and scored only a mere 157. What advice can you give me before I retake the test in 20 days?
'mere' 157 lol, still a great score! Taking a little walk on the breaks helped me a lot.
@@TheTestedTutor I mean I have a low GPA, so gotta compensate for it with a better GRE score. Anyways, thanks for the advice and keep these free videos coming. Appreciate it.
Thanks for such a great video!!
One doubt - if something is not mentioned specifically doesn't it mean the answer should be indecisive?because it can be anything distinct or same , positive or negative??
Usually yes
This was fun!
I am so thankful for your videos! So soo helpful & useful!
Thanks Neel
REALLY AWESOME TRICKS,I LOVE IT
Philip, sit your tricks are really wonderful.. God bless you🌹🌹
Thanks so much
Got All of these right!! Thank You so much, please make some more videos like this, it's very useful..

thanks sir.....
Most welcome
Amazing tricks....
Thank you so much Karan 😀
Amazing
Last minute saviour tricks🙂
Awesome!
The last one didn't mention negative integers either, so the ans can still be "quantity a is larger" right?
just helping the algo and thank you
nice!!
The second one got me
For the first question, when the question says X and Y are integers between 0 and 5, does it include the integers 0 and 5?
I have the same doubt about several other questions. Sometimes the question mentions that it is inclusive, sometimes it doesn't. When it doesn't mention it just like Question 1 in this video, what are we meant to assume? (In the video, I believe you said we could pick the number as 5 even though it doesn't mention inclusive)
Normally it would be written as 0 < x < 5 like that. I didn't need to pick 5, any 2 numbers in that set would have made the same point.
The Tested Tutor Thank you for the prompt response. I understand in terms of that particular question. However, my doubt still remains as to whether the word between means that the extreme values are inclusive or not? What if the question does not mention ‘inclusive’?
@@harshlakhani4171 between would mean not including extremes normally...
In question 2, you said including 1 and 5. Then why didn’t you multiply 1,5 and 4.999 or whatever?
Because the question asked for the greatest
Hi, thank you for your great website. I have to take the GRE test in two months to apply for grad school, what would you suggest to do for being completely prepared? Is two months enough time to get ready?
2 months should be enough with intense study. A good start would be to watch every gre video of mine and then follow every revision tip in them...hope that helps Melika!
If these exact questions came up, the answer to them will be E. Cannot be determined with the given info right??
