- What if history went a little or even a lot different for Finland? In this video I explore all endings for the nation of Finland. There are different alternate history endings for Finland like: Monarchist Finland, Communist or Red Finland, Axis Finland, Uralic Empire Finland, Scandinavian Finland and more. This video combines some of those alternate history scenarios and includes commentary as supposed to just maps and text.
The focus of this All endings: Finland is on the early twentieth century including WW1 and WW2 as well as the inter war period. Finland gained its independence in 1917, during world war one after Nicholas II abdicated the Russian thorn. This meant the interwar period was crucial for the development of the nation of Finland. In 1919 Finland signed its first constitution witch set Finland on a path of Democracy and Republicanism similar to its Scandinavian brothers. The time before the constitution even saw a short lived Kingdom of Finland which didn't find a king and was later replaced by the republic.
You can see that the time of Finland's birth was a turbulent era of history. So Finland's future could have been radically chance even by small geopolitical events.

Nice video man , off topic how do you see a world without the holy roman and austro-hungarian empires existing ? You can make a vid about it since l don't see those scenarios that often , usually they have videos aboit them lasing longer and not the other way around .
It's relay hard to say Its quite a big change in history. My opinion is that their place wold be replaced by other empires/great powers. Maybe France expands and assimilates the Rhine lands and the ottoman empire cold pose a larger threat on Europe. Maybe Poland wold be the dominant European power or maybe they get split by Scandinavia (with German positions), Russia and the Ottomans. It also depends on what the premise is, do we prohibit nay German and Austral-Hungarian, union because most likely those political entities get replaced by something similar. @@Porphyrios.History l can imagine poland taking the place of the holy roman empire , and russia takes the place of the austro-hungarian empire . Maybe those nations become world superpowers early on in the case of russia , as for poland l can see it being colonial .
