    I had the opportunity to take the Hyundai for a spin, impressive drivers and they all have standard tires on their cars

    Good video as always. I follow you a lot. Apart from the pleasure of watching you drive, because I am also the lucky owner of a GR Yaris, also white by the way, and after watching your videos you make me feel more eager to drive my Yaris. Go ahead please. Greetings from next to your beloved Portugal, Galicia, Vigo.

    Around similar power output, but the Yaris is 4wd and around 200kg lighter. So I guess you had the wind pretty much in your back 😆

      Substancial reserves in the tank during cornering, straight line speed seems to be a wash.

      Thank you! I don't think so, the A052 are an incredible tire. I think they will win vs the PS4S as long as there is no standing water.

    Hey there 👋 the gr is running very carefully and not to limit..the i20n its looks to lose control in some turn's.the opportunities to win the gr is more than 4 in close curve's.be careful and always drive safe 😊

    That is one think I don't like about the Nordschleife. If it's a mix of condition. Like in this video Dry and Wet. Actually if you want to learn the wet line try to get a passanger ride in the N-Taxi with Marc Splithoff. He is the fastest in the wet. Will do the same at the end of the season when the rain starts. Idk if you remember but you had a video where you followed a Suzuki Swift in the rain. That was also Marc . He is also a instructor I think He drives now one of the Hyundai Taxis. He has some great videos on youtube where he plays with the other taxis and fast rain laps. Great video as always 👍

      Mix conditions are harsh, and you can get caught out by turning a corner and finding yourself in full wet, standing water conditions. It's what makes it edgy and part of the fun for me driving on this days. Thank you for watching 👍

    I expected yaris to fly by with an ease but no.. 4wd and 300kg lighter makes minimal difference. Is your 3 cylinder losing power after so many trackday? 230ps maximum

    • @GreatMotors
      @GreatMotors  Před 8 měsíci +1

      I don't feel a difference from new. I was just following the car in front and having fun. DIN weight is 1280kg and 1494kg, I am not sure where you found the 300kg difference from. Engines are 261HP vs 280HP and the Yaris has for sure additional power train losses due to AWD. Everything seems to match to me.

    Cool video I have to say 👌🏻. But darling, with 300kg less 4x4 and wet conditions? Do another one in dry conditions 😉

    • @GreatMotors
      @GreatMotors  Před 8 měsíci

      Difference between the cars is 200kg, not 300kg. EG the Yaris is a tick over 1300 as the Hyundai is over 1500kg. 4x4 helps getting of the turns and to put the power down. I've tried in the dry, it's a similar match up, check some of my other videos 👍

      If the Yaris has original weight, I agree with you. ☝🏻 yours 1240 kg, i30N 1530 kg. They're a little more than 200 kg 🙃. But whatever, keep going 💪🏻. Your videos are mega 🔥💯

    • @GreatMotors
      @GreatMotors  Před 8 měsíci +1

      @@user-fk9qs4bt2m 1240kg without the driver (DIN) :), the i30N is 1429kg (i30N performance manual transmission). If you compare EG weight (75Kg driver) is where you get 1509 kg for the i30N and 1355kg for the Yaris (or 1315 for mine with weight reduction). I found the i30N technical data here: www.hyundai.news/newsroom/dam/de/Pressemappen/i30_N/Hyundai_i30_N_2019_3_Technische_Daten.pdf and from the GRY here: www.toyota-media.de/assets/document/rWp3nEQO29K4Jg15wzgN4ZmdP?download=true

      Those i30N feel rapid going straight. I really had the feeling that the corner grip was not there for him. He was getting good rotation out of the car but still missing on raw lateral grip.
