I felt the Audi should not have overtaken there and that it left very little space. I got scared and put two wheels on wet grass which could have caused a big shunt. Do you think the same ?
I thought it was an ego overtake as he didn’t like you overtaking him and he was in the wrong in my opinion. It could of gone a different way very quickly when you went on to that grass, I’m glad it didn’t.
First of all it is not the best place to overtake, plus, it felt like he really wanted to do it there to show the power of his 5 cylinder 😅 i would describe it as a forced pass, a thing to avoid during TF. Love you channel!
L
Agree, bad choice of place to overtake, but didn't look deliberate. Great job keeping it under control on the grass!
The guy in the TT had penis issues. Probably beaten by his father. Literally.
@@tomcatuk overtake was deliberate, otherwise it wouldn't have happened 😅. But I agree with you, it was not malicious 👍
Hi dude.
You had just huge luck there and I am very glad that nothing happened.
You was just too nice to him and let him pass you there but you shouldm't. That is not place for overtaking especially on TF.
Be safe dude.
Hey thanks, I agree 100% that's not a spot to overtake. I didn't want to block "the racing line", but the way he position his car really left me in a bad spot 😔
8:42 No anger, no bad blood. love your sportsmanship gesture at the end, despite a questionable move of the TT RS driver.
Yeah. Such conduct deserves a sub.
Thank you for sharing and great driving! Liked how you kept calm and kept driving great even after the two near misses!
When they moved over to let you pass you would not expect them to do that and then push you from behind and force you into a sticky situation. They should have stayed in front and pushed it instead of that. It’s just a bad lap to do that but in hindsight they probably would agree. Good job nothing happened to anyone and it was a entertaining lap. Still love watching you and the Yaris fly around the ‘ring. It’s astonishing how many times you and the GR have made a statement to big business cars! Class work as usual 👍👌
Really enjoyed this great driving 🔥🔥
Thank you ☺️
Great video man👌🏻👌🏻 looks like great fun
Thanks 👍
In my opinion not the best place to overtake and you looked in the mirror and end up on the grass - glad that nothing happened. Really nice driving!
Definitely not the best spot! Thank you 🖖
Always fun to watch you chase from behind! By the way, what shoes do you wear for your race sessions?
@GreatMotors thank you for amazing footage. How many times do you think you've been around the ring?
This year I hit my lap number #200. I think it's a little bit above that now 👍
this yaris can be a rocket, give it some power, more power !
Hi - great driving !
What modifications have you done to your Yaris ?
Thank you! Here is an extensive list about the car:
🏎: Car: Toyota GR Yaris

Greetings from Greece, fantastic driving ! May i ask why no helmet and 3 or 4 point racing seat belt (harness) ?
Good question! It's a pubic session and it's not mandatory. The car still has full safety systems (airbags, 3 point belt, etc).
Great video my friend!
Thank you 🫶!
A controlar até na relva 💪 maquina 🔥
Obrigado 🫡
Cool hoodie! 👍
Thanks 😊
Really wanna see you trying the gr corolla in a video. But maybe you have thought of applying more upgrades to the yaris ?
Unfortunately I don't think we will see the GR Corolla here in Europe. I think it will be really hard for me to put my hands on one. For the Yaris I am considering going 1 size smaller on the wheels with wider tires.
@@GreatMotors So you think smaller and wider is better than bigger and wider ?
@@GreatMotors on a circuit of around 3 kilometers I am 4 seconds faster in 255/than the original size
@@OPTCO1 I want to optimize for cost. 17" has more options and are generally cheaper than 18" for the same width.
@@Paul922 that's a big difference 👍. Are you comparing the same tire model ?
Great job man, great driving skills! As a suggestion, for next driving videos, it is possible to try to do an edit with cuts and only one view in full screen (by alternating full-screen views simultaneously) rather than having small screens within the screen? This could make the video more dynamic.
😮
is that a Kalle flap?
I am sorry, I don't really know what a Kalle flap is.
Is stock?
CV?
Mostly stock. Upgraded aircooler and oil cooler .
😁😁👍👍👏👏
Well, you were driving down the middle of the track in front of a faster car, and when you went way wide, he probably thought you were moving over for him.
I didn't like the race today. first the Z4 which puts the arrow to the right then extends and causes obstruction. Then the TT slows down, waits for you and makes that dangerous maneuver. Excess of ego. But you got along as usual, you were right there behind him.💪
The Z3 was dangerous as hell. Either don't signal, or if you do stay right. The driver stayed in the middle/left besides signaling, and then disputed the braking point after the compression... just bad!
I have no idea why the TT slowed down and indicated right. It's ok for him to follow, but that place is really bad for overtaking and left me very few outs (thus the grass...).
Idk if you noticed but there was also a Spanish Nissan Almere (I believe) in Breidscheid at very low speed and completely on the left. I did what you shouldn't, over took on the left. But I deemed it safer than braking suddenly to not make the pass.
sorry Z3. Agreed about the comments. I won't say anything else about the TT..@@GreatMotors
And this is why ill never do a TF at the Nordschleife
I think you should get your crunchy gearbox checked sooner rather then later.
Possibly the gearbox mount is failing. There will be a fix from Toyota but only comes out end of the year.
audi people doing adui things
Another 50 hp for yaris and that audi see the dust...
Habe ich da ein Messer zwischen den Zähnen gesehen? 🙂
😅 Da war etwas drin.
Yaris begging 🙏🏻 for a decat or high flow
It has a 300 cell hi-flow cat from HJS 👍
No way that's stock power.
In the bio it says 280HP. Stock one should have around 250/260.
You can also find what he changed the cooling system and removed the rear seats
As @CONNNE said, car should have a bit more power over stock. It's not remapped but I am running a less restrictive downpipe with 300cells cat, and a larger intercooler. The car is also 40kg lighter than stock 👍
Hi! Having seen several of your Nordschleife ride, I've enjoyed lot of them.
What's not interesting (edit: and really not impressive) though is that on the one hand you have titles like "Porsche Bullies GR Yaris" where you are writing that letting pass the other is what TOURISTENFAHRTEN is about and this video where you "bully" the TT permanently when it's in front of you.
(The TT and the Porsche behind you could have been faster if you haven't been in front of them by the way...)
I'm riding TOURISTENFAHRTEN since more than 25 years now and I'm really not impressed that so many people are "racing" there nowadays.
Calm down a bit and you'll have a lot more fun when driving...
By the way: I prefere bikes so I'm much more dependent not to be hit by idi*ts there...
Hi! I really appreciate your comment since I also love to be critical of myself and my actions.
I deeply believe in letting someone pass if they get close to your back. That means they are faster than you, no questions.
I would argue that I was faster than this TT. You can easily see videos of me, even during TF traffic, doing considerably fast laps than this one.
I could consistently brake later and carry more speed into the turns. Ofc that was out of the window, with the TT in front where I had to compromise to not get too close. Tbh for track driving, I would say I left a fair amount of distance.
In this lap there was a lot of slow traffic, that had little to know track knowledge and was simply blocking (see the yellow Megane RS in Bergwerk). This compromised my way up the hill in Kesselchen and with more than 100hp down on the TT, and him right behind I tried to give as much space as possible. Unfortunately he chose possibly one of the worst areas to overtake and I ended up touching the grass. I hope that sheds some light on my line of thinking on the TT. My opinion the TT could have tucked behind and easily overtaken on power after the kink. You are keeping it flat through there anyhow.
As for the GT4 I considered letting him by a few times. Now the Porsche was really only catching up when I met traffic and I was gaining a fair amount of space every time there was a sequence of turns or braking area. More over I was still being held back by the TT.
I have reviewed the rear facing footage a few times, and I stand by what I did. The porsche driver didn't have the pace to stay comfortably in front. If I would have let him by I would have gotten stuck behind the whole lap (as I did with the TT).
I am happy to hear your thoughts.
@@GreatMotors May I thank you for your detailed response?! - I think I can do...
As mentioned I've watched several of your Nordschleife-Runden. You're an experienced driver and I think that you are driving safe and secure.
(To me the Nordschleife isn't safe anymore as to many people, even when driving "Touristenfahrten" want to race, and not to ride.)
Don't get me wrong: Your driving looks safe and secure. It's just that you're also driving aggressively, same as the others.
Maybe we'll meet at the Ring.
My suggestion, being aprox. 25 years older than you: Stay calm, stay safe and have a lot of fun.
👍
Don't forget the weight of the car. And I'm not sure if tt rs still have back seats.
That's no standard TT RS. Although this generation came with 365PS from factory. I am sure that on the chassi front (suspension, tires, brakes) there is little that is stock.
Wer sagt das der Audi 400 ps hat?
@@EscapePlan97und was fährst du für eine pommesbude? Jeder hat seinen eigenen Geschmack. Wahrscheinlich ein Bmw wie jeder 2. dort.😂
FAST AND YARIS
Love it! Going to use as a title for one of the next videos if you don't mind
You were already on the grass before he was even next to you
I was not. Look at the camera filming backwards
Very close call. Not a good place to overtake, also he seems experienced driver, maybe bad judgment, happily ended well for both of you.
Yup it happens. It wasn't malicious, just made it really tight for me.
Tight? You'd be in the wall in some tracks 😂
@@sercanserj7804 it doesn't get much tighter than Nürburgring 🤭
That's audi drivers wasn't happy a little Toyota was quicker only way was on a long straight even then he pushed you off the track
