Pro Polyester Surfboard Repair that Anyone can do. **see narration edit in description B4 viewing

In today's video we're showing you our pro technique for repairing this snapped surfboard. Because we're using a polyester resin this repair won't cost the earth!
** Edit to narration !!! 5.22 minutes into the video we forgot to mention after the fibreglass is applied and cured we overcoated with topcoat resin which is resin with 2% wax added, this hardens the resin and eliminates tackiness to allow us to sand without gumming up our sandpaper.
Please note that this is a PU cored board. if your board has a polystyrene core or is has epoxy glassfibre on it then you will have to use epoxy resin to repair it instead of polyester
We first repair the foam core with some PU liquid foam, and then use Aerialite glassfibre cloth and our polyester surf resin to laminate the surface of the board.
