      For real I try to do the same with my own channel. I do wish youtube would respect the users better when searching for knowlage tutorial based content and feed us the quicker and better content rather than the longwinded entertaining content.

    This is how you make a tutorial. You neatly zoomed into whatever you are using so that people with restricted data plans can be able to view it in lower quality too and you explained about it clearly.

    Just after you closed the loop and zoomed out the point on the left wing appears to have moved since there is gray appearing outside the red line around minute 4:30 or so. A: why did it move and B: how would you fix it?

    • @graphicsociety1
      @graphicsociety1  Před 3 lety

      I didn’t do a clean job closing that point. To fix it clean on that point using the Direct Selection tool, the white tool, then you see the handles. Move the handles slightly

    • @graphicsociety1
      @graphicsociety1  Před 3 lety +1

      Hello and thanks. I locked it so I would click and move it accidentally. If you don’t reduce the transparency you won’t be able to see the underlying layer to trace over.

    I have a black line surrounding my trace do you know anyway I get around that?

    • @graphicsociety1
      @graphicsociety1  Před 4 lety

      Miles Spearman select the Pen tool and then look at the Options bar or the properties panel. You probably have a fill assigned to your pen tool or you have a stroke that is very thick. You need to adjust those.

    • @MilesSpearman
      @MilesSpearman Před 4 lety

      @@graphicsociety1 How do you change the color of the stroke?

    • @graphicsociety1
      @graphicsociety1  Před 4 lety

      Miles Spearman First ensure your pen tool is set to shape not the path. When you finish your shape you can go to properties panel or options bar on the top to change the shapes fill and stroke colors.

    Can this method be applied for laser cut?

    • @graphicsociety1
      @graphicsociety1  Před rokem

      Yes. You need to prepare the file for that. They may need you to change outline to a certain Color and save the file in a certain way. You also need to do some adjustments on the laser cutter software to define the material you’re using, cutting depth, etc.

    Results won't be anywhere near as good without a very thick stroke. The thinner the lines are, the sharper the passage point between each segment will be. Unfortunately this still isn't enough to make a smooth, thin tracing line.
