- #photopea #photoshop #graphicdesign Hi there,
In this video, I'm going to show how to convert a low quality, low resolution graphic, into a high quality, high resolution, razon sharop scalable vector online in Photopea.
If you don't already know, Photopea is the best free alternative to Photoshop for your photo manipulation and graphic design needs, it can run right from your web browser, so no need to install anything on your computer.

This dude is actually a W thank you
IT WORKED HOW TYSM YOU EARNED YOURSELF A SUB
Amazing video, thank you so much!
Thanks! Appreciate your feedback :)
This is incredible!! Thank you!
You're so welcome!
Cool. Thank you.
you helps me alot bro, thankyou. God bless

Perfect
tip. just make the guassian blur 2.7% and then duplicate the layer and then merging it, it will make it less pixelated in seconds :D
please explain how it works cause for me it did nothing
Okay so I’m new to Photopea. I make image sheets with multiple Google images on one sheet. When I go to print , the images are very blurry. Would I use this to make it print sharp? Do I do this same thing for every image? Or is there a way to do this for all the photos at once?
Thanks so much for your help!
That really depends on what kind of images you're working with, the technique shown in this video only works on simple one-colored graphics.
One other thing, make sure you pay attention to the DPI, let's say for example, that you're trying to print an image that you downloaded from Google images, what I usually do, is create a blank canvas in photopea, like if I want to print on A4 paper, i create an empty A4 print document, and then I place the images into it, scale them if needed, and save as pdf for printing. This usually gives me the best print quality assuming the images you downloaded are good quality to begin with, hope this helps, reply if you have more questions ✌️
I have a 150 dpi drawing but I would like to get to 350 dpi.
thank you so much sir
My pleasure 🙏

Great video, a bit too fast, background music was an obstacle, for a beginner like me
Make pauses, turn on subtitles and turn off the sound! Hope this helps!)
it's work ,
3min video = 30min for me to do it
Super good. My image is many colors do you have a sulotion for that. I got my image super sharp but black and white.
it depends, can't really tell unless i see your image, if it okay, send me a preview of both original and scaled, then i will be able to suggest a solution, here my email : thepixsmith@gmail.com
Thanks, but how do I make the new logo editable? For example if i wanted to change the color what would i do?
Hi there MG! You can change the color by double clicking the shape in the layers panel and picking whatever color you want, hope this helps :)
@@pixsmithhow can I make multiple colors?
Is there any technique like this that I can us on multi colored images?
You could try this video instead : czcams.com/video/VM_h7R9Quec/video.htmlsi=6z5GKzhp8UKmo2by
Hope it helps
I’m trying to make a gang sheet for transfer sheets. How do I make sure the files uploaded are at least 300 dpi?
By uploaded you mean the files that open in photopea, right? if so, go to image > image size (or press alt+ctrl+i), there you will find the dpi, hope this helps ❤
What if I want it to remain transparent, can I skip the add mask layer?
BTW, this video was incredibly done in such a short time, it is hard to believe that you just taught me how to use Photopea in less than 3 minutes! Thanks a ton!
If you want to keep it transparent, skip adding the white background layer, and thank you for your kind words ❤️
@@pixsmith thank you! I did and it worked perfectly.
But how do I use this image to make another design with it
I use Pinterest for design inspiration, try it
hey please answer this because i dont know what to do, when i save my file it comes out as a file from edge and i cant open it everywhere
That's an svg file (vector graphic), you need to download and install inkscape to preview and edit svg files, hope this helps ❤️
I just did it. But i need to do the same with a colorful image, how can i do that?
I didn't try this with a colored image, so I'm not sure if it's possible, 🤔
Awesome, it works, but it turned my color logo to a black and white logo, how would I get the color back into the logo?
I'm sure It's a simple fix but I'm just too new at using Photopea, excuse my ignorance haha
After using the vectorize bitmap option, your logo will be turned to a shape layer, double click on it and you will be able to change the color, do let me know if this doesn't work, I will look more into it
@@pixsmith what if I want the logo two different colors?
@@Gameraid123 I can't really tell for sure unless I see what you're trying to do, if it's okay with you privacy wise, you can send me your file to this email : alif.m@icloud.com
I will take a look, and I will get back to you, 😎
@@pixsmith okay, I will send it when I get back to it
Hey Pix,what if my low resolution photo have colour
Probably not going to work
nothing is workign thisis the 4th video with the same settings
At 1:43, I repeat the steps but even after 'Select All', 'Copy Merged', 'Paste', nothing happend. I see no new layer formation.
Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance.
Hi, Can you please help me, other viewers reported this problem as well, if you could record your screen while doing the step, and send me the recording to thepixsmith@gmail.com
I will try and troubleshoot the issue myself or escalate it to the developers, thanks for your feedback ❤️
@@pixsmith This time when I was repeating the steps, a pop-up appeared asking whether I want photopea allow to access something. Unfortunately, I clicked okay straight away but it allowed to paste the merges and a new layer appeared according to the video. (I am not using Chrome)
I resolved my problem by taking advantage of AI on Internet as resolution of my image was too low for photopea to handle it.
.
Nevertheless, thank you so much. I appreciate the work you do.
Never stop creating, generating as not everyone can do it.
PS.
I selected the option capture window in OBS and pop-up did not reflect. :(
That's the greatest drawback of trying to hide everything and make look clean.
@@skyndream211 Oh I guess the issue has something to do with the browser not allowing clipboard access or something, anyway, glad it worked out in the end for you bro, thanks for letting us know, cheers ✌🏻
this technique doesnt seem to work when your logo has both thick and thin lines. either the thick lines get way too thick or the thin lines disappear =[
Yeah, it only works on silhouettes, simple one color graphics
@@pixsmith yeah my logo is only one color but it has too many varying line sizes. Thank you for the tutorial tho!
@@rvkit2873 i might be able to help if you send me your logo, if that's okay with you of course
@@pixsmith thank you so much. i have a friend taking care of it but i appreciate the offer
@@pixsmith hi I’ve got a similar issue as this commenter. Would you be able to assist if possible?
idk why but when i export it always exports as a link in safari do you know how to help pls i need the help
do you export as SVG ? Is so, try installing inkscape on your computer and open the file in it
I have a design with pixaleted text how can fix it
If the text is small, I doubt you fix it, why not try to recognize the font, download it and retype the text with that font, hope this helps ✌🏻
when i do the add new layer part at end it becomes blue and ruins everything
Press D on your keyboard to reset the foreground and background colors to default black and white, then press ctrl+delete to fill the new layer with white, let me know if this helps ❤️
well it does help me but the problem is when i di all steps the photo started remove the character and is just black and white@@pixsmith
@@MuizzShip you have text in your image ?
yes why?@@pixsmith
Send me your image to this email : thepixsmith@gmail.com
I will take a look at it, and i will let you know the best way to scale it, if it can be done, that is.
thanks

what if my logo has multiple colors?
Try this instead : czcams.com/video/VM_h7R9Quec/video.html
I feel pretty stupid asking this, but can you not just adjust the DPI to 300 within the Image Size option? That's where I adjust the size and DPI for wall art, and properties tell me it has worked, but am I missing something?
Hey there @ZjTwams, AFAIK, DPI only makes sense if you're trying to print out stuff, digitally, it has no significance, correct me if I'm wrong. Moreover, simply increasing the DPI won't make the image sharper, it has the same effect as increasing the pixel size, I suppose.
when i select all and copy merged and then paste nothing happens
pls help out tnx
before doing paste, try selecting the top most layer, hit paste and see if a new layer is added, if no additional layer is created, try saving the project as psd, then close Photopea and open the psd file again, hope this helps 🙏🏻
@@pixsmith I encountered exactly the same problem, followed your suggestion by saving, reopening, then pasting, bingo. not perfect but works. thanks.
@@pixsmith thanks allot
@@pixsmith I just tried it and it didnt work
maybe something wrong with my pc?
is it supposed to show that i copy merged in the history because mine isnt
what if I want no background?
Simply skip adding the white background at 1:09, hope this helps ✌️
@@pixsmith thank you for responding, but when I skipped adding the white background, the levels adjustment layers doesn't work (the bur doesn't disappear unless I turn the white background on)
@@jasim7497 Apologies for the late reply, I will be redoing this video soon, with a solution to that problem, try this : right before you do vectorize bitmap, use the color range option to select your logo, pick shadows from the drop-down list, and you should see that your logo is selected, click ok and apply a mask to hide the white background.
After that, select all (CTRL+A), then edit > copy merged. Select the top most layer, then Edit > paste.
Your logo should now be on top, hide all the other layers and lastly vectorize bitmap.
Hope this helps ❤️
When it comes to letters they get vanished specially the smallest ones. Well nice trying.
it ruined my image please make one on how to put the color back
what you mean it ruined your image ? photopea never actually changes your original photo, any changes you make must be saved in a new PSD file or exported as a new image 🤔
it ruined the finished image@@pixsmith
can you send me your image to my inbox at thepixsmith@gmail.com, so i can see how i might be able to help, send both the original and the one that is "ruined"
I'd love this video if there wouldn't be clicks all the time
Appreciate the thought but your way to fast. Seem useful but need to slow down or have a detail step by step written explanation. My 2 cents. You know what your doing, just hard to follow along. Sorry.
Hi friend!
I really love and appreciate your feedback, you don't have to apologize, I think you have a point, and will certainly consider it in the coming videos, thanks :)
@@pixsmith No it's a totally fine speed! People need to understand that they can pause a video, do what needs to be done, and then go back to your video. Instead of making a 20 min video just explain that to the people who don't come to that simple solution themselves.
With
Slow tf down bro
thank you for your very fast describe i stop and watch like 1 hour bravo pathetic
