Using MecControl to control Meccano Servo Motors

  • I gave up on the Meccano MeccaBrain. This is what I'm looking at using instead to control Meccano models.
    It can do a lot more than I'm showing here, but I'm only just getting to grips with it.

    This is cool, I'll have to get on the bus and create something with controllable servos. Do you know if the program runs on Raspberry Pi? I've got a few of those lying around

      I don't think so - it's custom firmware that you download on to an Arduino to get the programming language. But I don't know anything about Raspberry Pi, having never used it. I'm only just starting with the Arduino. The MECControl website might tell you more, but everything I have seen points to Arduino.

      Not as yet. This is just about getting used to the system. There are some cool videos of various models using it on the MECControl website.
