- Long have we waited, MooMoos. Long have we had to roll our eyes and refute claims that Mamamoo has a small fandom and MooMoos didn't have a huge impact in K-Pop. Long have we known the truth and waited for the right opportunity to shed light on as many people willing to accept the truth.
That time is NOW! MAMAMOO HAVE DONE IT! OVER 100,000 ALBUMS SOLD IN ONE MONTH ON GAON.
Now there is truly NOTHING people can claim they haven't accomplished. But more important than that even is to celebrate what an incredible milestone this is.

I don't get why people say they had bare minimum promotion when in fact for us in the west or rest of countries they didn't, but in other Asia countries they did have shows, concerts, etc. So yes they had international promotion but not in your country. Also, the company puts subs in the videos and allowed them upload videos so they could promote themselves more. They literally, till this day keep uploading behind scenes of each come back or concert and after a while always are subbed. I don't see that many content from other companies for any other group. RBW is not a big company but they have done what they could and was the best for them.

I was like: "YAAASSSSS!!!! Queens!!!!!!!! Hell YEah!!!!!
I stanned the right group. I mean i can clearly see they're really growing in the right way and not like suddenly gain popularity.
When the first week Hanteo sales were revealed I knew it was only a matter of time. Thought we maybe had to wait a week or two after the first month for this milestone, but NOPE.
Their success is so satisfying and well deserved.
They truly outdid themselves and I am so proud of them ❤
I'm so proud of Solar, Moonbuyl, Wheein, and Hwasa; they had to struggled more than just about any GG when they debut, and going from 8K to 100K sales is an unbelievable achievement. And with MooMoos' help, they can and will continue to soar to new height.

It’s so painfully obvious that some stans don’t really understand what privilege is. Privilege isn’t to say your favs have had things handed to them on a silver platter. It doesn’t mean that your favs haven’t worked hard or that they haven’t struggled to get to where they are. It’s to say that some groups, despite going through similar obstacles, still debut in a better position than others. I’m not shaming them for that because that isn’t their fault. Privilege is just a fact the world we live in and you can easily apply this concept to your life. As an example, kids from wealthier families grow up in wealthy, safer neighborhoods, have access to better education and opportunities, and don’t have the same struggles kids from middle/lower class families.
Now if we translate this into K-pop terms, groups that debut under the Big 3 come with money, status, and initial interest from the public solely because of the company they’re under. Sometimes, all these companies have to do is release a *debut teaser image* and fans of the company or fans of label mates swarm in. I myself am guilty of this (STAN PURPLE KISS). The fact that they come from big companies with reputations means that they’ll have more influence at broadcasting stations, more screen time, more invites to variety shows, more money for promotions, etc.
Mamamoo came from a dirt poor company, with no reputation, no influence, no budget. Why people are so impressed by Mamamoo isn’t just because of their amazing music or singing ability but, because they had all of the odds stacked against them and yet somehow rose damn near the top of the industry. At the time, the only thing that allowed them to stand out from their competition was their unique performances and vocal ability. 6 years later, now that Mamamoo has made a name for themselves and their company, juniors who have debuted/will debut now have a privilege that Mamamoo didn’t have. Why? Because they’re coming from the same company as a well-respected gg.

usually people organize group order by country but I think amazon sells ones that are counted in korean charts 😁

The reason why I fell in love with MAMAMOO is because they are not like every other Kpop group. Most of the groups act kinda of cutesy (which is not wrong at all), but MAMAMOO exudes this sexiness that most kpop groups don’t have. Also, they all know how to sing and harmonize!
