How MAMAMOO Saved K-Pop in 2018 (Year-End Review)! YEAR OF THE RADISH!

- 2018 was without a doubt the most content packed year Mamamoo has ever given us. I will make an effort to review what still amounts to a small portion of their accomplishments this year--the Year of the Radish.
That said, I know I didn't include every single thing. They did a lot! This video would have to be an hour long! But I tried my best! This is my late Christmas gift to MooMoos and myself, as I enjoyed reflecting on everything Mamamoo set out to do and then definitively accomplished this year.

For me, Honestly, I thought kpop is about cute and scripted concept. But, when i saw MAMAMOO's talents, charisma and power voices my whole world turn to stan them. This is the reason why i love MAMAMOO. 👑❤

Mamamoo is kpop by name only, because they're Korean and popular, but by musical definition they're not kpop, they do things outside the box, with real artistic talent, originality and freedom. They don't rely on being catchy or trendy. They do their own thing. It's simply good music that transcended the label of "kpop" objectively but since it comes from Korea people will just put them in the same basket. A basket in which they don't belong, they need their own basket full of radishes.

No one can ever discount the fact that Mamamoo is a top girl group that gives the industry something fresh and extremely memorable.

Baby Lia I am excited but also kinda sad for wheein's winter. Once it comes out, it will be bittersweet for me since it will be the last of their awesome 4 seasons project. I hope they have more projects like this in the future.

I really love the way you edited this just to showcase how far these girls have come. I still kinda miss their retro/funk music during their debut days but this made me confident (and excited!!) that Mamamoo is still out there trying to find thier own sound. Hopefully, 2019 is the year they take their radish harvest internationally as we see them expand more. Thanks a lot for the videos too ❤️ you play a great part in nourishing the international radish farm lol

I never saw them as an idol group idol groups don’t sing live and have vocals like they came out the black church!! They also don’t have unique characters with their own style. Mamamoo are grown women not acting 14 but being GROWN! I put them up against any idol girl and boy band and they KILL! PLUS THEY HAVE THE BEST STYLISTS IN THE GAME! This generations 2ne1 💪🏾

i’m so glad i decided to stan after their egotistic comeback. i seriously have never felt so content after being introduced to a group. i’m so in love with every part of mamamoo and so so so proud of what they’ve accomplished and what they’ve gone through. i hope this year was as enjoyable for them as it was for us. i’m willing to support them through anything further to come, moomoos too ♡ i love you all, happy new year.

but the fave part about all of this year's comebacks is the moonbyul singing parts!! it fit surprisingly well with the overall mamamoo sound cuz there's only a slight overlap in range with hwasa but now a lot of the lower tone and register lines in mamamoo songs go to moonbyul now

Although I am MooMoo since 2019, I am still proud of their great achievements and efforts! They could save the entire Kpop scene with such a 4-season project! I hope in the future they will be more and more successful !! As a new MooMoo, I was not disappointed because I did not know them sooner .. but I still have a short journey to accompany, and have the opportunity to integrate with MooMoo in the concert! so I hope new MooMoo friends continue to support and accompany other MooMoo and Mamamoo!
