      @HarpersCarDetailing  Před 3 lety +3

      I use it on interior plastics as well. It’s safe to do so.

      @@HarpersCarDetailing if this thing doesnt include NaOH u can be right. From my experience a lot of kinda citrus spray things include sodium or potassium hydroxide which are not that safe for gentle interior plastics, fabrics, leather and ecoleather. I'd never spray like that without cover interior elements, but its only my point of view. Cheers 👍🏻

      Have a look on their website, their description says ‘It is a true all-rounder as it can be used for any of the following: krystalkleendetailstore.co.uk/products/citrus-magiv-v2-prewash
      As a prewash through a hand sprayer or pressure pump.
      As an All-Purpose Cleaner on interior fabric and plastics.
      As a cleaner for convertible soft top roofs as it also contains anti-bactericidal agents to help prevent mould regrowth.
      Perfect for bug and fly splatter removal’
      I have been using it for years with no negative effects, even when used at low dilution ratios.
      A lot of the products I use are water-based and biodegradable, as I don’t like using anything caustic, toxic or overly aggressive.
      I make sure I look into every product I use, and have done so over the last 12 years 👍🏼

Have you ever used Adam's Polishes products, and Specifically, their Mega Foam? If so, How would you Compare Adam's Mega Foam vs. Bilt Hamber Auto-Foam and Why either is Better than the other? The rinse must always be done from top to bottom.

    • @HarpersCarDetailing
      @HarpersCarDetailing  Před 3 lety +6

      The final rinse, yes, but not necessarily the initial dirt removing rinse.
      The only reason I rinse from the bottom up is so I can see exactly where I have been with my pressure washer, as it’s the pressure of the water that removes the underlying dirt.
      If you started from the top then you would dilute the foam below and it would run off the panel, so you don’t necessarily know when you have been, therefore you could very easily miss a spot. Whereas if you start from the bottom you can see exactly where you have been and can use the above foam as a guide as it remains in place.
      After that, you only need to very quickly rinse from the top to remove any leftover product or debris.
      It may take longer, but I would rather that than miss a spot and potentially inflict marring at the wash stage.
      If you prefer to rinse from the top then there’s no harm, I just do it this way to help eliminate me missing any areas.
