Great video! Haven't driven an 8v, as they are a bit rare in Greece. Here we have a marriage between the Gti and the Rallye. Usually the NFX engine, either single or 3 plug ecu. They say the single plug is a little better for tuning. Mine is 3 plug and I've kept it pretty much original. The next mod will be a 14/60 final drive with a longer 5th gear for the highways. my dumbest sale ever, a 2000 rallye, with dual airbags, aircon, p/windows and locks, 16v 122bhp. sold in 2003 with little over 50k km for 9.000. i wanted to buy it again new but it got out of production. you could buy them new for a bit more than 12000 euros...

Without being 100% sure about the "homologation" plate, I think it has something to do with the emissions.
