Hey man . . . as far as the fuel lines go, did you need to use any fuel lines going to the manifold from the 325i? I bought a m52 by itself, no parts car, so im wondering if i need to obtain some additional fuel line related material in order to perform my swap

So can I jest use a cd in the front or will I need to use a resistor I’m using the power wires from it to power my Bluetooth adapter will it show up as a cd on the radio I have tried crossing the +to the Signal wire on the power plug but nothing shows up on the front radio and it freezes and shuts off do you know what to do I’m lost

I did this swap, from put a 94 m50 (red label ecu) into a 95 318ci, jumped EWS module and I’m getting crank no start. There is no fuel getting into the engine, and the fuel pump is not priming on accessory. I’ve heard this can be an EWS sub issue, but it may be part of my fuel system. I’m unsure, but I don’t believe it is my fuel system. Anyone here have this issue and fixed it?

I got an e36 318is, and im thinking of doing exactly this, putting a bigger engine in it Im not sure which engine i want to put in, need recommendations I want a bit more power, but power isnt the only thing im bothered about, the most important thing to me is reliability My 318is has let me down overheating, and its been a real pain It still starts, drives, does 0-60 in 7 seconds (its been superchipped) and still does 135mph (tried it on a runway i used to work at) The only thing is, stop in traffic and the temp gauge goes up I think it has a cracked block, because i tried changing the head gasket, but coolant was coming up through one of the head bolt holes

Didn’t need to swap engines as the 325 was already a 5spd running and driving with a full interior. Little TLC and it would’ve been the same. Good job though

In February 2020 I was basically given bme e36 323i auto convertible 1998 velvet blue with 140.000miles on clock full bmw service history literally no rust other than little patch of paint bubble on rear arch stored away In my unit as prices are going up all the time as less on roads

I think this just happend to my poor 530d. Im fixing some rust on the wheel arch in the rear and drive it in and out of the garage. Was just going to check if it had lost any coolant sitting still for over a month, and the tank was filled with oil. Just a bit over the max level. So i havent been driving it luckyli!!! Cant see any reason for the head gasket to blow when its barely been used. It has 416xxx km on the tacho tho, but its well maintained and starts like and runs like a dream! TIS says you should drain the oil and change it before you start as some coolant will get into the engine when you remove the filter housing. Better safe then sorry!

318iS brakes are identical to 325's - I've switched to vented rears from a 328, the fronts are the same from 318iS to 328. That car is a minter, never let it go - I've never seen one like it.
