    What is this thing?
    This is Toyota’s largest SUV that’s trunk-based
    TNGA-F
And the TRD Pro treatment means it’s the most offroad ready one
And it also means it’s the only one to get this unique Terra paint option
Think of this as essentially the Tundra’s SUV twin
    What’s new for 2024?
New nightshade trim for added style
TRD offroad package now available on Platinum 4x4 trims
    Engine
There’s unique things happening under the hood as well
The Sequoia ONLY comes as a 3.5TT V6 HYBRID iForce MAX
    437 hp
    583 lbft
    10 speed auto
    0-60 in 5.7
Also the only hybrid in this segment
And the most power..except Timberline has 3 more hp
    MPG
This is a hybrid but you couldnt really tell
I struggled to get even 15 mpg
Supposed to get 19 or 20 mpg combined
The 10 speed felt confused at parking lot speeds
    Size
    Thing is BIG
But doesnt translate to the interior
    We’ll talk more about this
    But it weighs 6150 lbs…oofff
TRD pro is 3 in taller than others due to roof rack
    Looks
This is one of my favorite things about the truck
Terra is the special TRD Pro color for 2024
    Solar octane gang
    Heritage grille
    Raptor lights
Doesnt technically need them - .4 in too narrow
    LEd light bar
    33 in tires
    BBS forged wheels
    Etched camo on wheels
Roof rack looks cool but is LOUD
    Running boards are a liability
    TRD exhaust
    TRD eggs
    UCAs
Lights…but not as much as Tundra
    On exhaust
    Suspension
    Fox shocks
    Only .5 in lift
Falken Wildpeak tires - but softer
    Not peak rated
    TRD skid
    Red sway bars
    Towing
But a HUGE focus for this and the Tundra is towing
9020 lbs for this TRD Pro
    Almost 600 lbft of torque
New F chassis is hundreds of lbs lighter tha blast gen
    Trunk
Probably the biggest issue with this truck
11.5 cuft - slide seats to 22 cuft
49 cuft - on small side
87 cuft - still on small side
    Weird floor tray
Third row power folds - which is nice
    Third row
If trunk is the worst then this is the second worst
Floor is high cuz solid axle and battery
Either have legroom OR trunk space
    Headroom is trash
    Power recline
    Vents
    Window shades
    Second row
    Captains chairs
    Window shades
Space isnt bad but still smaller than rivals
    39 in vs 42 in
No heated or cooled second row
    Pano roof for 24s
    Front seats
    Camo inlay
    Heated and cooled front
    Interior design
    Very utilitarian feeling
    rubberized knobs & fake screws
    TOYOTA across dash
    Loads of storage
But the cupholders are all small
    Physical climate controls are nice
    Tech
    No HUD
    Full digital cluster…doesnt change much
    But has cool on/off animation
    14 in infotainment
    Wireless ACP…cant be wired?
    360 cameras
TRD Pro gets special trail cams
    Wireless charger
    TSS 2.5 is decent
    Offroad stuff
    Falken Wildpeaks**
33 in vs 32 on the tundra pro
    Fox shocks
    .5 in lift
    Remote reservoir only in rear
9.1 in clearance (timberline gets over 10)
    TRD UCAs
    23 degree approach
    20 degree departure
    MTS
    PART TIME 4x4?!?!?!
    Rear locker
    Little things
    Egg mode
    Blacked out a pillar
    Doors you gotta slam
    Two tone door handles flexxxxxx
    Under hood easter eggs
Trunk window doest roll up and down - it flips up
Still has blue hybrid accent logo
Red TRD start button and red noon marker
    Heated
    Digi rear view
Running boards are a liability with ice
    Price
    Starts 61,275
    TRD Pro starts 79,110
    As tested just under 83k

Will the engine on this blow up like the Tundras?

I've been wondering the same thing! Are they both built in Texas?

Traded Mazda cx90 for this we loved engine but was uncomfortable and tech was a pain. We got Sequoia TRD pro and we absolutely love it!!!! Here it is for all you crybabies if you got 2 kids it’s perfect. If you have more than don’t bother and move your ass up to the buses!!!! Next, it still gets more MPG and tows more than Tahoe. I have a Silverado and the drive is night and day with the sequoia. And value long run isn’t even comparable to ford, Chevy, or dodge.

its a 3 row luxury family school bus , my likes soild rear axel ,do like the grille and shorter wheel base over the tundra but the 3rd row takes up cargo space when folded down @7:11

The third row actually goes flat when board is in place and gives you a separate storage area as well. I don’t get the complaint on this. And if so my second vehicle is a Silverado. Space is not a problem
