I’m sure glad Brent puts up with my shit and always is the best help a guy could ask for. Thanks Brent and now we move on to the Essex eventually. Lol.
It never ceases to amaze me how much work you guys put in to get these old cars up and running. Then you make it look easy lol. Great job, and a great car.
No misses, no chatters. The old school posi track looks to be working perfectly as seen by the black stripes Trevor left on the bridge. I always enjoy watching Brent work. He is surely a talented man.
DD speed shop just bought this car recently. He turned it into a two door. and he’s complaining about all the welding you did…. I thought you guys did an excellent job of getting his car back on the road…. keep up the great work. Mike from Florida.⛓️⚒️⛏️🔨🔧⚙️🔩👍👍
Brent you are a magician when it comes to changing an old motorless hull of a car into a very desirable cruising classic. Much admiration to you. Thanks for sharing your garage and letting us hang out with you. 👊😎👍
Nice ole cruiser, all he needs now is some rust repair. You did a great job on this engine swap. Trev must be stoked being able to have his old Chevy back on the road. That's what friends are for.
This is what i want to do when i retire. This is fun and relaxing. I hope you are doing this until your 99, Brent and still enjoying it. I would listen to the same music too !
That is as good as it gets for cruises. It doesn't matter if someone walks close to it or a little kid touches it. Nice work, guys! Everyone needs a friend like you,Brent.👍🇨🇦
Love your channel, Brian! You are a very humble person. I love your sense of humour and cavalier approach, but clearly you have skills that you are not letting on about! I can fab and wing iron the fly, but I dare say not at your level! Cheers!
Hello friends, love the charlie brown music when you speed up the footage of y'all working on the 56' Chevy how classic guys love you lots like family and hope to hear back from you soon thanks 😊😊😊😊😊
I know its not your car etc etc but by golly you are such a driven car guy, we learn a tip or neat method every video. And it is so fun to watch you crank through the process. Thank You for posting and those overhead shots are just awesome. Really appreciate all you do. D
A suggestion to enable you to get cars into the workshop would be to put a hook on floor/wall that an electric winch can be used yet shifted between locations.
Love that start up! It's alive! Hell yeah.. Nice project car.. So great when planing and pieces & parts come together. The more miss matched the cooler! Making use of what you have..awesome.
Love the way you repurpose and fabricate just all major systems... doesn't always have to be new and shiny! Definitely a homer simpson moment "Dooohhhh" when first fuel pump mount attempt, definitely can relate, ask me how i know:). As always thanks for sharing!!!
good stuff! i enjoy these LS swap videos and now we have a chev engine in a chev car! bonus! lol. i wish i had go getter friends like this! great job guys! nice old chev car back in action! nice interior in it 👍
Hey next time you do an oil pan run a torch flame around and the heat will draw the oil out of the aluminum an makes the joining process a lot easier. Then if there is a problem area again just heat it up a little bit and it’ll weld perfectly again.
THE MASTER FABRICATOR STRIKES AGAIN REALLY ENJOY WATCHING YOU WORK YOUR MAGIC THE ELECTRICAL STUFF BAFFLES MY MIND YOUR ONE OF MY FAVORITE CZcams VIDEOS TO WATCH AND THAT DOG KNOWS GOOD PEOPLE WHEN HE SEES THEM AND YOUR NO DOUBT HIS FAVORITE
My buddy Larry and I did this kind of stuff 30 years ago! Those golden moments Wrenching on Cars! We had a 3 car garage with a pit. Our version of a hoist!!
Another great car on route love your work ,approach ,tequiniques etc. Just been watching Karl at make it custom and lounge forward to seeing you two building together two very different styles . But two great guys sharing their ideas and aptitudes. Going to be a great shoow of that I am sure Alan
I never heard of anyone using a F150 fuel pump for an LS swap, that is some good information to have on note Thank you. It really surprised me to see that, I remember those old F series trucks and Vans from the early years of EFI in the Ford , we used to have issues with that frame mounted pump freezing up in the winter and then we had to bring the vehicle inside to thaw it out or lay outside in the cold with a hair dryer, heck I even remember pushing my friends van for two blocks once to a car wash so we could spray it with warm water to get the pump to work. I don't think it was the fault of the pumps so much as it was the fact that they were mounted on the driver's side frame just a short distance from the front wheel where they got a lot of water and snow and cold air .
Yay! 1956! Carona and I's favorite year! You mix up some GOOD JB Weld! I am liking how you share part numbers. Very helpful on a possible LS swap on my 94 K1500.
*- The two of you sure did make fast work of that project, Brent* *- I finally got a video of your aluminum welding to send to a friend. Thanks* *- I know you have done other video, but I couldn't find those,* *- . . . and here you are a day later helping me out. Perfect ! ! !*
Love the tear drop rear wheel wells of the 56 over the squared off 55s . On the 2 door the chrome trim even drops down and you can see how it influenced the wheel wells and trim for the 57 Chevy . Sorry I'm just a Chevy guy and Mopar man !!
Hope Trevor drops it by in the future after he does some of the work on the rust and the front bumper. Just to see how it looks in the end even as he has no real plans to do more... but already it is more than a roller... I think we get a little attached to some of these rides... half of our joy seeing them on the road...
Man I tell you what Dan over there at DD's speed shop he would love that 56 Chevy that thing looks really nice. The traverse has a matching front seats in the back I'd put them in put a nice bumper on it and enjoy it.
I’m sure glad Brent puts up with my shit and always is the best help a guy could ask for. Thanks Brent and now we move on to the Essex eventually. Lol.

The thing that impresses me the most is how you make things work on a low budget! Anybody can throw money at it!!
I agree. A special skill to build a cool car with no money. Or a limited amount of money.
