Thank you so much for doing this video. I couldn’t understand the pdf directions. The pocket instructions were not making sense to me BUT seeing you do everything in this video was great!
I cant get the free pdf to download for some reason. I was a bit confused about the zipper pocket part of this, like the rectangles she drew in the fusible fleece, i feel like this is the part 2 and i missed part 1.

I like this pattern. I have woven some fabric and am thinking of using it to make a tote bag. Hopefully I will make this one. I shall buy some nice contrasting fabric to line it with.

Love the bag and I agree with others that this would make a great gift. I used heavy interfacing on my outer fabric and used canvas for the straps. So many pattern mixing options!
Super cute bag! The steel pins you have are usually meant for more dense, heavier, fabrics that might cause thinner pins to bend. However, they can also leave holes sometimes in the fabric.

You could make your lining 1/2 inch longer if you wanted it to be the exact size of the bag. Just a minor adjustment. Really cut bag.

How do I get the fabric to stop bunching with the zipper? I've tried twice now and figured that is how it goes the second time but then when I sew the straps on it gets so much worse! What am I doing wrong?
Can you use webbing for the straps?
