    When I sew on any polyester type fabric, knit or woven, I spritz with a water vinegar solution. 1 cup water, 1/2 cup vinegar (white). It helps keep the pressed fold stay in the fabric. Also, if you have to take out a hem, or adjust the legs of a pant, it let's you redo any pressed lines.

    I worked on a huge automatic sewing machine for years. Her name was the Dutchess..I had to fill heavy frames with fabric to make tools bags. Had 3 going at the same time mostly. But the frames had sharp teeth and they bit...lol. So I never had nails till I recently retired. Its so wonderful to have nails...

    Silly question, if I want to make longer, where in the pattern do I do this? I’m very tall and usually there is a horizontal line as a guide on both the front and back. Is it the size key, line inside?

    • @EllieandMacPatternsLLC
      @EllieandMacPatternsLLC  Před 2 lety +1

      No worries! Just measure the neckline circumference and then multiply that by 87%. Then cut your neckband 1.5" tall x the result of your multiplication.
