Do you have a favorite actor??
Just a little expansion about your tip on "life in the eyes." This is quite different when you are doing film or TV because there is basically no escape, I think is the best way to put it. What I mean by that is the camera literally picks up everything you do. So you have to remain focused on what your character is doing, thinking, feeling, etc. If you start having thoughts on what you are going to have to eat later, the camera will pick this up in your eyes. In theatre of course you have to remain focused too, however there is less pressure when it comes to this.
Your eyes are the window to the soul…
More good advice for acting:
(Comment if you relate to this)
If you want to master the acting skill you’ll need tons of practice. (Study’s show to master any skill you need about 10,000 hours of practicing.)
Now most ppl look at the end goal and say “I wanna be tom hanks”, which is working for and ONLY for the end goal and That won’t last a long time you’ll end up dropping acting. Motivation is key to succeeding in anything and it’s what fuels you.( setting a goal is good for working towards but not to use for motivation)
So how do we get long lasting motivation?
You get it by loving the art of what ur doing so if u wanna be a basketball player u gotta love shooting the ball and u gotta love the grind.
I’ve had so many times where I picked up a hobby and then just dropped it because the motivation left and I’m sure all of you had the same, so if you wanna change it love the art of acting and you gotta love the grind.
Watch videos on acting, practice your speech, and try to build your all around game with loving to do it.
Best of luck to all y’all 🤞
Thank you @theactorsacademy for all the great vids.
the intro is amazing .
😁
Acting with eyes is the most beautiful and important thing in Acting performance. It impresses and inspires Audience. Thank you for teaching this❤🤟
When choosing what type of actor I want to be it’s definitely the best in the world. Although my chances are incredibly low I don’t see much point in devoting your life to something and aspiring to be something just to be mediocre at it. I think that you should do everything you can to the fullest no matter what it is.
Your videos are actually pretty motivational and helpful. Thank you for that! :)
I’m always happy to be of service :)
Thank you! This channel has helped me so much in my studies!
I’m always glad to help :)
Love the intro
Thanks!
So nicceeeee
I like how it's not really obnoxious
Thank you so much. Your channel is the only thing that I have right now to learn to act. I will try to persuade my parents to let me go to acting classes. Thanks again and stay safe
same here, just keep your head up high and things will get better
It's amaizing that you talk so fluently. I almost finished watching all of your videos. Thank you so much for your amazing work! Keep it up, you are the best!

U really help me a lot🥺⚡
Always glad to be of service 👍🏼
Thank youuuuuuu so much 🌹🌹
Beautiful Intro
☺️
This is great advice. I really like the concepts around defining what type of actor you want to be. Too many actors are struggling with their own perception of where they think they should be because of comparison - like you mentioned. I myself have only this year defined what type of actor I am and it's glorious to feel comfortable and confident.
Thanks for your content.
Genuine question, I’m training in Meisner technique right now and it’s been about a year- what kind of actor do you mean?
Love you man keep it up 👍

Any beginner books to recommend? I’m taking the time to learn and study the craft on my own. I also signed up for the master class.
I love your channel
My biggest advice as a theater kid is : Believe in what you're saying, if you play romeo you aren't yourself anymore, you are a young italian man, from a rich family, who falls in love deeply with a girl from the rival family, you are torn between your love for her and your family duties. You are putting on a body suit of romeo. If you aren't becoming your character, it won't work. I remeber once playing Othello, i wasn't othello, the man going crazy bcuz he thinks his wife is cheating, i was just sayiong his words, like a copy, but no you have to FEEl your character, to live through theuir body. My performance of Othello was bad ans i knew it. It was because i didn't believe in what i was saying.
did i just watch an ad without skipping-
Thanks a lot, I got that there's life in the eyes.
I'm an actor in Nigeria coming up and this advice will help me a lot.
Tips for not buckling in auditions and being your true free self lmao just started auditioning and the struggle is real
hope you nail an Audition soon🙏
@@glenn9607 Thankyou I appreciate it!
Thank you for this wonderful video you have helped me so much 🙏🙏🙏💋💋💋💖💖💖.
Look at your own thinking when you are relexed, stressed, happy, on medications, ruminating about something.
Look at how every situation makes you feel and how others respond to those same situations in appearance.
Looks, mannerisms, emotional reactions and the wording of peoples responses / questions can easily decieve.
Character traits, preferences, interests, biases can easily make someone believe you are someone completely different from character to character.
Look for tells, like voice changes, overacting, slow responses, flex face especially when questioning a person directly. It can be hard to get someone out of character once they are in it for a while. It might become automatic and easy for that person to the point they can even do it drinking and or medicated.
Can you please do a video on how to analyze other actors performances to improve?

How do I learn dialogue because I forget dialogue very soon ...... waiting for your suggestion 🤔
Same here. Dialogue is the one thing that makes me struggle the most. I feel like I’d be a way better actor if I could just remember dialogue. It scares me when I forget the dialogue.
I want to do all
How did I get to the "How to Become An Actor" side of CZcams?

what is this guy's level of success as an actor?
Before my audition ( my very first role ) as a newbie do i need to get headshots before my first one???? Kinda confused and also have no money to get a head photo from a professional😭
Yes it is essential to get headshots.. there are many different ways to make money for headshots but you can always look at student photographers or smaller ones cause they will charge less
@@myathepoet4925 ok thanks
I have a question I'm 11 years old and acting is my dream job do you have any advice on how I could do that
1. Research what you're about to get into
2. Start small. Act in front of families, friends and cousins. This will make you feel a lot more confident when you are performing with strangers. Do some monologues and duologues.
3 I assume your are in the start or second year of high school so start doing drama and see if you like it.
4. Do some acting classes.
If you do these things, you will be ahead of your classmates in your future classes of acting. Drop the ego, don't think you are gonna be famous quick or you want the camera to see you only. Find a true honest reason why you wanna do acting. Also reply what your inspiration was.
@@Xades okay thanks!

Hii can you please make video for foreign actors, those who want to work in Hollywood.
How to get agent/manager?
How to get the visa?
Please
Start where you are now, join an acting class or maybe online and get trained, get as much experience as you can and you can apply for an acting school in LA and get a student visa, apply for CPT while you in your second year of the school and you can audition for a role and work or maybe you can make your own film to gain experience, and before you graduate, you can apply for OPT to stay one more year in the US and go find an agent and ask them to sponsor you o1 visa or you can try to apply for a green card if you are eligible. Remember to work smart and hard tho.
@@Benj4minGuy thank you so much brother
