- Race 2 of the Pre 66 category proved to be a very exciting race, myself and Andy Jones in our Imps take on the more powerful Mini Cooper and Lotus Cortina in an epic 4 way battle!
Andy unfortunately suffered a broken throttle cable just a couple of laps before the end.
The race was stopped due to an incident at Paddock hill bend, both drivers involved suffering only minor injuries.
Super touring power meeting held by the CTCRC.

James, You are clearly a very talented driver i have a few questions.1. How much power is that little monster putting out? 2. have you got ambitions to drive in different classes? 3. do you earn any prize money? 4. I notice that when you race there is no contact unlike touring cars etc. Thats an observation. 5. If you go on at rack day would you keep up with a well driven megane rs 250 road car? all the best

1. A good race imp engine should make 105-112bhp
2.I would love to race something else, I just don’t have the money so I’m waiting to be asked by a rich owner!
3. No prize money, just the satisfaction.
4. Yes we try not to bang into eachother, I personally hate bodywork!.

If all of the cars had front and rear cameras the footage could be pooled and with the live feed as well, a really amazing film could be made of this race. Sombody should do this, i would certainly buy it

We do well with just 1000cc!
