@@EleanorPeterson that was a bunch of very-close-to-factory spec cars like Nissan Sentras, Toyota Corollas and Vw Golf's racing together. But in almost every race you'd see mirrors and bumpers flying, and very frequently a car on its roof! 😂 Great fun!!

5:10 I just imagined Rowan Atkinson in front of them driving with one of his Mr. Bean facial expressions and showing them the fist or finger after they overtook him ... never knew he raced in Goodwood hope he races a Mini, too.
I didn't know he was such an AWESOME race car driver. until I found the Goodwood series. a person can learn something new every day.

I wasn't a huge fan of the minis. after Marc Bolan of T Rex died in one. but these mini race cars are AWESOME!!!! the minis are a different kind of car to drive because of their front wheel drive, which is a benefit. the Galaxies and the Thunderbirds handle incredibly well. the dog bone grill Escorts are also fantastic cars. but let's not forget the Capri's. you have to remember the driver's are responsible for this wonderful racing. they simply have no fear. they even drive when it's snowing.
I have sworn off American auto racing. I'll never watch it again. the American drivers are wimps. this is the best racing on the planet hands down.

Normally, I hate FWD cars simply because I have become fed up seeing them all the time and every day but the classic Mini is the saving grace of all of them. Put a classic Mini Cooper in a track battle, grab your favourite snack and watch it thrive! 😍💗🤟
