      @ScottRuthvenFineArt I have painted flowers but not with great success. I do struggle with loose brush work but I am improving. That's one of the reasons your videos are so helpful. I'm going to try these flowers which you did wonderfully. Thank you, Scott.

    Thank you! Do you typically draw your plein air with pencil/charcoal, or does it depend on subject matter, how your feeling...etc ?

      Hi Katy. I use pencil most often. It’s just the easiest solution for me. If the scene is just a few simple masses, I will draw them in with thinned paint, usually Burnt Sienna.

      @@ScottRuthvenFineArt oh ok....I love to draw, so drawing with a pencil feels more natural to me, but then I see artists using thinned paint to draw and it makes me second guess myself 😂 and then I conform and use thinned paint...😂
