** IMPORTANT NOTE **
Do NOT give up if your first attempt fails. Backup data and Factory reset is recommended before working on this. Please make sure you follow all the steps one by one, and do NOT try jumping, processing in different timing or sequence may impact the result.
Note: international versions may not compatible
In this video, I am showing you how to Install Google Mobile Services (GMS) directly on Huawei Harmony OS 4 without rolling back your devices to HarmonyOS 3 / 2, EMUI 11 / 10 or even earlier. (this video is using P50E as an example).

Preparation:
1. Use One of the links below to download the ZIP file (if the links are no longer working, please kindly leave comments and let me know. Recommand using Edge, Firefox or Opera. Why not Chrome? That's beyond my knowledge, I think the answer is similar to why you need to watch this video to install Google products on Huawei devices, lol...)

2a. Extract the zip file and save the "B. Copy to Mobile Devices" files on the device that needs to install GMS

Thanks for detailed guide. Managed to get Google on Mate X5 using your video. Also notifications started to work after second video.
New instructions for Harmony 4.0 now, yahoo :) I used previous instruction from this gentleman and my XS2 works absolutely fine for at least a month or even more with natively installed Google services, present push notifications and without Play Certification error.
Be patient, this guide is gonna be enhanced real quick, trust this guy ;)

I can't do the installation. When I install step 8 it says I already have a newer version on the device and it doesn't proceed
Play Store is crashing, cleared the data in app details. Also Play services crashing when I try to get in "manage storage" to clean it

What's the point of having Harmony OS and using Google? I would never use Google if I had Huawei with Harmony OS. Even if I would need something, I would just use it through the browser like on the PC.

hi. i did everything correctly until the 4th part in that list (?) thats where i get stuck. it said "not compatible with this device" so i couldn't proceed any further. my device is huawei matepad se. is there any way to get past through that step?

i doubt this can work in L29 models
Does Google maps also work with routing and more importantely does the google maps and location integration work in other apps? I mean if I use an app like swisscharge it has the google map integrated and often with these tutorials the location and also the google map in this third party apps is not working. Does it work properly with this tutorial on Harmony OS 4?
quite alot of them are working perfectly, but not all.
5. Deactivate Settings > Apps & Services > Google Play Store und Google Play Services > Data usage > Background.

everything worked for 1 day, then Google play services updated to version 23, after that I deleted it, but version 17 Gps, does not want to install, refuses me.

mate 50 series 100% working, unless your mate 50 is global version
It works all great but, with the apps who require to use maps, appears the error "Play Services is updating" and doesn't work. Any way to fix it? Thanksss
HMOS4 does not have that issue anymore, is this your initial HMOS4 via OTA update? If so, i would suggest factory reset HMOS4.

So the first time I followed all the steps correctly and everything was working perfectly, but being the fool that I am, I deleted the zip folder because I thought I no longer needed it. I woke up the next morning and nothing was working. So I followed all the steps again but I keep getting error messages saying Google Play Services won't run without Google Play Services, which are not supported by your device.
did you uninstall the required apps? looks like you have deleted google play service for example.

yes but not quite. Honor works in the same concept, but slightly different since Honor is from different a product line required different files

I have installed gms on my mate x3 but there is no notification for all google related apps. i watched your 2nd video and your method seems working for the notification. In this case, should I reset the phone back to factory settings and follow your instruction again? or I can follow your instrution without reset? and should I upgrade to Harmony 4 first or stick with 3? thanks in advance!
if you have followed my earlier videos and successfully installed GMS on HM OS3, then upgrade to OS4 before follow the part 2 video czcams.com/video/4Hxu-WO9UZ0/video.htmlsi=NHVgmN3mlXF-jn4N. If this is your initial attempt, then upgrade to HM 4 before following the steps in the HMOS4 method.

1. on launcher manager turn off google play services, google play store, google services framework
2. restart the phone
3. clear google services framework data and cache
4. clear google play services cache only
5. clear google play store data and cache
6. restart phone
7. clear google play services data and cache
8. restart phone again
that worked for me

a few possibilities. solutions: 1) unstable internet connection, turn off wifi/data then turn back on 2) clear cache and data for Play Store, restart device 3) incorrect system date/time, use auto time setting and restart device 4) user account sync failure, remove Google account, then follow czcams.com/video/md_LOIDlL1k/video.html to add account back on, then continue the remaining steps from this video and the part 2

I was initially able to follow this video to install & proceed to part 2 finish all job. B/c the google maps does not work properly, I started over. But now I stuck at 13:19. After the reboot (1st reboot of the process), open Play Store goes into DF-DFERH-01. Note that the 1st time open Play Store (at 11:27) was fine. I have tried clear data/cache, reboot. Cannot get beyond. Any tips? Thanks in advance.
Same thing happened to me. 1st load of play store worked. Rebooted and Error DF-DFERH-01 and getting constant alerts to update the play store but tapping on that takes me back to the error. But thanks a ton ThatsYisy you got me farther anyone else.

very common error, but many reasons can lead into this. suggestions: 1) keep clicking re-try at least 50 times. 2) wait for at least 15 mins before opening Google Play Store again 3) re-start the process from the video time 5:30 4) reset device and try again

P50 note that all Huawei products with se or e at the end of a model means economical verson or reduced config
