After several tests for a year they made me stop using the P50 pro, only as a camera with osmo mobile SE and I bought a Galaxy cheap, slow, . I don't remember how many times I formatted to start a different procedure and gave up. Last night I decided to try one more time with your procedure and finally almost everything works for me. Gmail doesn't want to boot but I downloaded Spark mail and I think I'll fix it. The good thing is that everything works for me, thank you very much.

Hi, I am considering to purchase a P40 Pro but need some advice to ensure I can later install HO4 + GMS, same as yours following this guide.
Thus may I ask:
1. From where did you purchase the device? (i.e. is it the China version or another?)
2. Did it come with HOS preinstalled or how was it possible to update OTA to it?
3. Does HOS4 on your device implement any system for forcibly inserting advertising, which cannot be easily removed/blocked by the owner?
4. Do you expect your device should work normally as a phone in the EU?

@@foobarrel9046 my advice: Huawei was only a good phone brand till P40 series were out. But afterwards, because of sanctions they couldn’t keep pace with other brands. If you can find Oppo I recommend it. With all the trouble Huawei wouldn’t really worth considering it if you are living out of China.

Thank you for this! I used this method successfully on my Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ earlier this year. This method is now working for me on my new Huawei Pura 70 Ultra. However, for the Pura 70 Ultra, I needed to use your other video to disable the Google Play Services unsupported notifications. Everything is now working perfectly thus far. Thank you again!

22:30, step no. 3 asked me to log in huawei account before installing. Unfortunately, im in Canada and unable to do so since it requires a china phone. Did I do anything wrong? Did anyone encountered the same problem?

Thanks for your video. I successfully install on mate x2 with harmony os 4.0 without the error message. However, the google map is not working properly. The first few times it can show the direction of the destination but it won't be able to tell the path suddenly after sometimes. It keeps finding best route and finally it will show "Something went wrong" try again. Other apps seem still work fine. Do you encounter the same issue? Is there any solution to fix.

I just used this method to load the GMS on mate 60 pro with Harmony 4.2. I have some apps having issues such as google and uber so far. They simply don't do anything when attempted to open. Of course the annoying warnings for the ones that work.
I can confirm that works but after few days Google Play protect certified error you need to ID device so a bit boring

Hi, several questions surrounding prospects for HarmonyOS 4 in Europe:
1. Can one by any trickery currently install HOS4 on a Huawei P40 Pro purchased through official sales channels in the EU?
2. If not, is it scheduled or likely that Huawei will ever allow the P30 Pro or P40 Pro generation of devices to update OTA to HOS4?
3. Or will this older generation of phones in EU be effectively cut adrift, with little to no updates of the EMUI skin, whereas new releases in EU will come with HOS preinstalled?
4. Does HOS4 as currently implemented on Huawei devices contain any system for forcibly inserting advertising, and which cannot be removed by the owner?

Get a P40 Pro with Chinese firmware and you will be able to do this.

buy a used one with Chinese firmware in europe, dummy. my P40 pro plus has Chinese firmware and i'm in europe; you can even tell just by looking at the back of the phone. Chinese ones just have Huawei on them and nothing else.
