Install native GMS, Google Play Store directly on Harmony OS 3.1 (Tested May 2023 on Huawei Mate X3)

Do NOT give up if your first attempt fails. Backup data and Factory reset is recommended before working on this. Please make sure you follow all the steps one by one, and do NOT try jumping, processing in different timing or sequence may impact the result.
Note: international versions may not compatible
In this video, I am showing you how to Install Google Mobile Services (GMS) directly on Huawei Harmony OS 3.1 without rolling back your devices to HarmonyOS 2, EMUI 11 / 10 or even earlier. (this video is using Mate X3 as an example).

2. Extract the zip file and save the files on the device that needs to install GMS

have you tested google prompts? I cannot receive any notification for prompts, so I stuck at any new sign in from other devices...
In backup it dont show cloud storage or retore from internal storage although I've done this back up for smth else and it showed but idk this time it isnt showing

I need a method for the mate pad 11. It has harmony os 3.0 but I'm going to the purple G not compatible
matepad 11 on harmony os 4 - Rebranded to Chinese version - LZ Play not working -anyone had succes???
I am using Harmony OS 2.0 running Matepad pro 10.8 2019 model.
The only problem is lzplay app not supported and so I can't keep going to next steps.

My mate XS2 Chinese version failed...should I factory reset and try again from the beginning?
Now everything works for me but with one problem. I dont receive push notification from all apps. With whatsapp it works perfectly and also facebook, sms. But for example bloomberg, discord seem not to send push notifications. How to solve this, i think i allowed all notifications settings for these app, do i need to set them to be sent to the banner? What to do to receive them?

@@thatsyisy now it says the device not protected by Google and am trying to do the method again but it's not working:(
make sure you remove all the google related apps before retry and follow the play protect error guide czcams.com/video/cCzV3ZFcE0w/video.html, if that does not clear the error after at least 5 retries, then factory reset your device and redo it again.

As of now, Google play services keeps updating to version 23 and my Mate50 Pro says it is not Play protect certified. I downgraded back to Play Services version 20 and disabled auto updates. Can you find a solution, I think we will all have to update play services at some point...

glad that this works out for you. Updating Google Play service would lead to Play protect error, so that i am suggesting to stop the auto update.

What version of Matepad 11 do you have? Is it other than DBY-W00? If you have other than Chinese version then it won't be possible to install native GMS. It's a different version of HarmonyOS
