  • Try this quick and effective hip mobility technique to help open up the back of your hip. If you can't touch your toes, this one's for you. This is a great addition for prepping for deadlifts or an olympic lifting session.

I know this is an old video. So the likelihood of you answering my question is probably really low but anyway, I feel this stretch extremely strongly in the back of my knee.
A little bit of background about myself:
    If sitting,
I am extremely tight internal rotation/ turning my feet outward 12°
My external rotation is really good like 90° good butterflies
    Extreme tight hip flexors
    Bulging disc L3-L4
Another tidbit is if I stand on 2 feet and try to bring my heel up to my butt I can only manage about 90° bend at the knee, both legs
Also when I try to do a squat I feel pressure in my left knee like it needs to pop
I’ve had this in the past and I found just by not doing anything with it it goes away
I’ve been trying to get a deep squat but I can’t get my butt low enough
The back of my thigh is touching or more like squishing my calf muscle and it feels like I don’t have any more range of motion left
Now that I looked over my comments I don’t really see a question here
I think what I’m looking for is a course of action of what I should do?
    Any thoughts are much appreciated

Can you do some videos on improving ankle mobility?

Absolutely, we are going to put out videos on all of the main body regions. We are starting in the hips so over the next few weeks that's predominately what you will see. We will be addressing the ankles for sure. Thanks for watching.
