Does it mean they are interesting people? No, not every time. Does it mean they provide anything of true value to society? Not necessarily. But the people who go from rags to riches in America were just born to do it and deserve it. They have that spark man no matter what they came from. It really is an amazing country.

And Trey's a person with balance to boot, because you could have thrown on some social media person who mentioned nothing about the mentality and the spiritual component. This is so inspiring! My brain chemistry is shifting as I watch this. He's not trying to sell us courses, he's not trying to make people feel stupid for not being entrepreneurs, this was amazing. Literal millions of us grew up middle-class and still are, but want more economic FREEDOM in our lives and this guy is a fabulous example of someone who took his life into his own hands. I love hearing stories like Treys, however it doesn’t go over my head of all the “I love how he’s not playing the victim card” or “ he is so articulate”. It’s laughable. I live near areas where there are large affluent black communities. People are doctors and lawyers etc. since childhood I have noticed anytime the media talk to black people they tend to go to the most underprivileged areas. They seem to only want to talk to folks that are not privileged enough to attend good schools and might not have a great education. When they hyper focused on only those areas they are more likely to talk with people with broken language. It is not a problem, but they fail to give balance. That’s what I don’t like. I know people who may not speak well but they have more intelligence than our so called educated folks. The truth is some people are victims of their circumstances! Some of us are gifted with resiliency and others can’t handle the world. It’s called being human.

All that energy stains the air and if you live in that- you feel like your situation is helpless and you will "stay " like your stuck. My mom got me out of the hood. She bought a hse and the change in environment was shocking to my senses. Beautiful homes, nice cut grass, it was safe, people greeted you...
It's not enough to dream. Taking action is just as important. Stay at it. I have a fixer upper- but I love it. I live far north- I always loved nature. My dream was to be around it. I still want a lakehouse. Anyway- great video😁

In the last 3 years I have gone from being homeless, staying on friends couches, doing negative stuff in my late 20s, to now having a job doing something I love and starting next month will be making 6 figures/year. All of the things he said about cutting negative people off, putting your head down and working towards something, I can 100% relate to. Its all about priorities and mindset. People will try to drag you down and you might have to be cold to some folks in the process, but if you do the work, you'll get there.

Outside of vacationing and being able to retire whenever you want cars are pretty much one of the only reasons left in why most men want to become rich. As a single man with no kids I think these houses are nice but we don't need all that space. I live in an apartment and I've pretty much turned my den into a bedroom and the actual bedroom is completely empty. And you can't be a rich man dating, getting married and having kids because you'll eventually get screwed financially at the end when the woman divorces you.

I’ve watched Peter’s content from time to time and notice he shown a lot of footage of brothers is the hood, which I’m sure he understands different people more and respect them but seeing this clip is very uplifting and inspiring for a lot of people (especially black people) I lived in Atlanta for over 20 years from the Mid-West and one of the first things I notice when I moved here was how progressive Black people were… it was unbelievably new too me. As I met people from different places over the years I was told that was the main thing they notice as well. Now I am nooo where near brother Trey level of success, but I have reached levels in my personal life that I didn’t think was possible. I really felt his “never give up” mentality. I appreciate the inspirational powerful positivity of this brother Trey! “Anything is possible with the right mind-set”. God Bless Us All!!

Wow, I’ve been in Atlanta almost 10 years now and I had the same experience.
I didn’t grow up impoverished, but even with my multi cultural environment, It very quickly became apparent that Atlanta was black Oz.
Primarily on the south and west side (buckhead/perimeter and up 400 is all Indian/middle eastern territory).
I started here in the cascade area west of camp creek.
That was the first time I felt inspired like that. Going to Publix and seeing black people pull up in Maseratis, Benz’s and Aston Martins (at that time the real estate market hadn’t bounced back from 2008 yet so today I’m sure black money has 10x’d post-pandemic)
Granted there is always those who stretch their expenses to LOOK like they have it more than they really do, but as an experience, I don’t think there’s anything else like it in the world (outside of Ladera heights)
