I would say that Tomas Brolin at this time was one of the top 3-5 best players in the world. He took place in the World Cup 94 all-star team with players as Hagi, Romarío, Stoichkov and Maldini! He then got an awful injurey and never really got back..and for that I feel sorry for him!
Great player, one of the best ever european players (taking into consideration the short period that he played, 'till his only 29 years old) and unfortunately one of the most underrated ones...He will be ALWAYD REMEMBERED FOR PARMA'S BEST EVER ERA (1992-1995) AND SWEDEN'S ALSO BEST EVER ERA (SEMIFINALIST IN EURO 1992 AND 3RD IN THE WORLD IN MUNDIAL 1994). Still, managed to get the 4th place in the most, by many specialists, competitive Ballon D'or of all times (1994). Everyone should respect him

Instead, Wales' usually superb goalie made a gaffe when it mattered most, as did our usually reliable penalty taker. Wales is only now starting to recover from the misery of one close miss too many. Romania with Hagi was a dangerous team- brilliant sometimes but not very consistent.

great execution, but we (Romania) were unlucky to have the worst goalkeeper possible in this game ... he could have done better here, and of course, at the kennet anderson goal

I never get tired of watching this goal. This and Brolin's double wall play against England in Euro 1992. :)

He retired at 28! Played his last game for Sweden at 25.
