Caniggia was underrated , what a player
Damn, Caniggia was so fast. Great player.
Since that goal, Wynalda is my favorite USA player ever. But man, he did us so much hurt with his goals and skills when Costa Rica played against USA in those years.
Havelange and Blatter fixing the WC against argentina set the precedent to refs to block argentina from advancing. It is unbelievable the lack of yellow amd red cards against cameroon. Despite this, they reached the final and were robbed fragantry by Codesal in the final. Argentina deserved that WC.
Yeah sure . Everyone's a critic
Well, being Argentinean, I will never overcome the wrong penalty call in the final, but Argentina never showed enough football to win that world cup, and miracle after miracle put them in the final. True, Maradona was injured and the referees didn't protect him at all, but the whole team was performing under the weather.
Argentina doveva essere già eliminata contro l Italia!!! Cazzo dite!
Cry me a River (Plate), hand of God wasn't called, what goes around comes around...😊
Incredible what players had to take these days.
LE SACARON LA MICHI A ESE CACHUDO ESE DIA.....
The tackle known as 'the wrecking ball'.
Das war aber auch kein Elfer!
Fatality
Clearly a dive
third time lucky!!
Golaço!
As an Englishmen I applaud the last tackle as they had it coming after 86
daaaw its still hurts... that hand of god goal was the referee's fault you ninny.
Ey english men. Yous must watch femme soccer. I bet your country will be out again of the next world cup hahaha😅 keep participating 😂😂
When pure footballing skill meets thuggish brutality. Caniggia said after the match that he was totally unfazed by it as he expected it and "there was no way that they were going to stop me, unless they shot me!"
Cocain is a helluva drug. Rick James
Exactly. At the time, all the media cared about was the plucky African underdog beating the world champions.
War ja wohl offenbar keiner...
i remember that goal, I was 10. sweden won the bronze, it was a magic summer. not sure i’ve seen a more precise free kick til this day. and i’ve seen a lot of football. a lot.
As an english person would say: Cheeky Bastard.😁
Türkyilmaz was ein Spieler das war

Hoch… Der war ja gar nicht drin
eh, cant say anything otherwise it's racism 😂
Utilizaron la vieja tecnica y eficaz escaloni
The penalty that matters the most he missed.. We must stop to worship those who lose. Is a Brazilian Bad habit we must change
he was a fantastic player
If anyone's wondering why Ilunga did such a thing, it was an act of defiance from him. In the 1974 World Cup, the Zaire national team was in the same group as Brazil, Scotland & Yugoslavia. In their first match, they faced Scotland. Despite losing 2-0, they impressed everyone with their performance. But the Zaire officials weren't happy & the players to their despair found out that they wouldn't be paid anything for playing in the World Cup. As a result, they refused to play in the next match against Yugoslavia. This was met by threats of imprisonment from Zaire. Upon this threat & FIFA's pleading, they took to the field. In an uninspired performance, they lost 9-0 (biggest margin in WC history till this day). Zaire's officials were furious & saw this as a blemish to the country's reputation. Reportedly the then Zaire dictator Mobutu threatened that if they lost by a margin of more than 3 goals (some reports say 5 goals) against Brazil, the Zaire team will not be accepted back to the country. While this free kick incident happened, Zaire was already down 2-0. As the Brazil players were preparing to take the freekick, Ilunga darted out of the wall & kicked the ball away. It was his way of protesting. He later said to journalists that he was attempting to get a red card. So, that was the story. Although it seems funny at first, it's truly tragic. *Note:* Some people may not recognize Zaire. It's known as DR Congo today. If I remember correctly, Mobutu himself named it Zaire at the first place as he was a nationalist leader.
Please reupload this in good quality
As a 16 year old in 1996 our schoolclass had this one week field trip to Lausanne and amongst other things we were assigned into teams and had to write about anything concerning Lausanne or the area, so me and 3 friends who all liked football, went to the Stade d'olympic and George was training some team that morning. We just went up to him and asked if we could ask him some question for our school project and he seemed really happy that young teenagers were showing interest in his football accomplishments, and talked with us for an hour, we just fanboi'ed and told him everything we knew and he was actually impressed and didn't know the level of fame he appearantly had at the time. Was a really nice experience, we also went to the olympic museum to gather more material for our project and ended up getting 6's ( best mark in Switzerland, 1 in germany, A(+?) in US
Great goal. I watched most of WC94 matches but I missed it. Also Winalda's one
Just write world cup 1994 all goals and you will find them on youtube
Ni una tarjeta, increible
Oldskool defending..1960 style !
didn't even get a yellow?
No
In these times 2020..them tackles would've been banned for life
I watched the game! The offending player started to apologize, but the referee stopped him and said ‘no need for that’ and gave him a well deserved red card.
Fußballgerechtigkeit
Wonder how much the south Americans paid the keeper for the 3rd goal-ha ha
Bayern!!
It’s a funny moment but all this didn’t know the rules is bollocks. He knows what he’s doing. He turns to the ref gesturing “what ?” with his arms way too soon with mock surprise. They were arsing about all game.
Those Cameroon players still have flashbacks of the speed.
You do know that Argentina lost right?
