Hello I'm going to rebuild my 2018 kxf 450 and I'm not sure what material to put. I want to save a little while maintaining quality. Which connecting rod will do better, hot rods or wossner? Piston Wossner, Athena or Wiseco? Athena, vertex, prox, oem valves? Athena chain, wiseco, prox? OEM on the chain I have bad impressions. I wanted your opinion what to use Thanks
how long can a 2021 Kx 450 top end / engine can last for for someone like me who “ doesn’t “ race MX at all , and doesn’t ride their bike very hard and often . I ask because my 185 s atc is still running great from the 80s still , original engine , its very very very expensive too to have someone rebuild a four stroke engine on a dirt bike .
That is very difficult to answer and depends on a lot of other variables, like other maintenance (oil change, air filter, valve checks, etc.). Although it is not recommended to wait that long, it's not uncommon to see people with 100+ hours on a top end.
