My Fiancée has made a trip taking aid to east, I am proud of her. She went when they blew up the dam last year, No UN, Red Cross or any other she took aid. I wrote my Congressman in the US. I reminded his office the UN, EU, US and NATO all reneged on the Budapest Accord that was signed by the EU and US and Russia. Russia violated in 2014 and in 2022. If they had cared they could have stopped Russia but they chose to say Kyiv will fall in 2-3 day. The US needs to send aid, Now. This summer I shall come and create my Charity and my wife and I shall have two charities that benefit Ukrainian orphans and displaced people. Poland has tried to slow and stop us but I found their own laws to make them allow us to work from there to help and bring in supplies. .
I live in SW Scotland, in a near by town a guy runs humanitarian aid to Ukraine, he said the exact same, he saw very little in the way of aid agencies whilst in Ukraine,

Retired Lt Gen Ben Hodges spoke at the 16th annual Kyiv Security Forum and in other interviews about strikes on oil facilities inside Russia.
Gen Hodges asserts:
• oil facilities in Russia are legitimate military targets
• strikes on oil refineries means Russia has less fuel for combat operations
• strikes on oil facilities reduces Russian ability to fund the war
• “I’d recommend ignoring such calls to stop such strikes” Gen Hodges said.

Great advice to Lloyd Austin: Urge the flood waters back so oil refineries aren't affected by the breached dam in Orcs. Really, Ukraine should respond: We will definitely consider stopping our attacks on oil refineries and other military infrastructure in Russia once Russian troops are out of Ukraine and Russian missiles and drones stop encroaching on our skies. Interesting and not at all surprising:
Many in the flooded areas refuse to leave.
The reason is that if they leave their houses, the rescuers will come back and steal everything they can.
They just help "evacuate" peoples belongings,, then they forget who it belongs to and bring it home to themself .. not easy to be a rescuer 🤣
I was so shocked by that!! I’m sure looting happens in Australia sometimes, but not by the rescuers, & I’ve NEVER heard of people refusing to leave their homes because of it. Totally awful.

I do not understand how politicians can say Ukraine should not target the Russia oil and gas industries with the idea of keeping oil prices from escalating. More expensive oil products is a small price to pay if it means saving lives and infrastructure in Ukraine! God Bless Ukraine and the brave Ukrainian people!

Anna, in response to a question Lloyd Austin said, “Ukraine is ‘better served’ in going after tactical and operational targets that can directly influence the current fight.” He did not bring this up. Remember this was a public forum, and once again, notice the wording; nothing like ‘don’t do it’. I suggest these are just more words crafted to avoid the US-Russia direct confrontation, as well as avoid spooking oil markets. Hitting Mordor's refineries and weapon factories are terrific tactics, and the US did exactly this in WW2. KEEP DOING IT.

Your videos are very useful as Australia is quite far from Ukraine, I've only had the pleasure of meeting one Ukrainian in person; a childhood friend named Natalia. She did Ukrainian style dancing and was proud of her heritage. She celebrated it. I also had a Russian friend who was far less proud of his motherland. He worked hard to assimilate into our culture, which I do respect and appreciate, but Natalia also did those things. She just also displayed a gorgeous amount of passion towards representing Ukrainian culture and being proud of it. She respected our culture, as the Russian did as well, but only she also held pride and desire to represent her own culture, which I was very appreciative to be shown a culture I hadn't seen before. I also feel it was a bit telling which country had more reason to inspire pride in its citizens, and it certainly wasn't Russia. You sharing your feelings and thoughts on the Russian aggressors, sharing factual updates and helping people be more informed is amazing, thank you ❤

Sadly, no. Their poor and lower classes are, but those responsible for it are not inconvenienced by it at all. The residents are refusing to be evacuated, because their “saviours” come back and loot the abandoned homes. They’re camping out on their roofs, to safeguard whatever they have left.
No high ranking military officer or their immediate family is doing that, I’m sure.
Imagine having to defend your property against the emergency services. And russia has the gall to call Ukraine corrupt? Roll on the total collapse. Whatever replaces the current regime will have to try hard to do any worse.

The story I heard was that after helping evacuate the flood victims, the rescuers when back to the flooded house to steal whatever they could. Don’t know if it’s true, but sounds believable.

Anna, I heard Lloyd Austin say that he thought Ukraine could possibly "choose better targets", when asked about refineries, but he did not offer what those might be, or confirm this was discouraged in the way presented in the FT article. That said, when asked whether Ukraine can win, he definitively and with no hesitation or qualification said YES, and in the several hours I watched him yesterday, he made, as he always does, several times, the case for Ukraine to get the aid held by republicants in Congress. I understand your frustration and you can always express that to us and we will 100% empathise, but do know that the the Secretary od Defence is firmly on your side. Ukrainians can and should target anything they want, but no one from the administration or DoD is going to say it that way. They will see “we do not encourage Ukraine to striikke inside ruzzia” As an American citizen, however, I can say that I encourage Ukraine to do so. Hugs to friends. 🤗 Heroyam slava. 💙💛
