Thank you for the video. Was wondering - how far in advance should you make reservations for dining in early May timeframe?

The first week of May can be a bit busy, but for the rest of the month it should be fine especially during the week. Weekends are always busy in restaurants. I would reserve a week in advance.

È sbagliatissimo dire LE CONTRADE DEL PALIO DI SIENA perché le contrade vivono tutto l'anno con tante altre attività ed iniziative e non solo durante i giorni del Palio.

Is Zona traffico limitato a way to bilk tourist out of their money rather than earned it properly as selling them goods and services? What kind of racket is this anyways? What a shame. They ought to make a proper living rather than intentionally not make those signs very obvious, or just put a big banner saying 'NO ENTRY FOR RENTAL CARS" that way every tourist car renter would know. I bet your little municipality would lose a chunk of money. Money, mind you, not honestly earned. Good video and very informative.

Thanks. Well Zona traffico limitato is quite a common way to limit the traffic in old cities in Italy. I think it works well as it keeps people still living in the old town and it keeps old towns alive. On the other hand any other vehicles are prohibited, not only rental cars. But if your hotel is in the traffic limit zone and they have a parking garage, they can register your license plate with the system and then you can drive to your hotel. It is just something to be aware of.
