Do you know if Quasar lights can be powered with battery packs like a Vagabond mini? And if so, how long should I expect it to last? I'm thinking of picking a pair up but this would play a huge factor in whether I do or don't. Thanks.
I’m trying to decide if I want to buy 1 godox sl60w with a soft box and light stand. Or buy 2 four foot and 2 two foot versions of these lights for essentially the same price...I’m on a budget...any suggestions?
Well, I have worked and own both.
It honestly depends on your style.
The godox is great with a softbox to get a good fill area and spread out your lighting. IMHO can cover more too.
These tubes are also great for key/back light and also create some cool effect for music videos having them in the background etc.
So, both are great. will depend on your specific filming needs etc

Yeah these aren't "under $50". They're $75 and have 2 and half star rating on Amazon.....
No way! The 2’ versions are only $45 on Quasar Science’s website! Amazon I don’t believe is an authorized dealer, so I would be sure to buy them somewhere else! B&H or their own site!
When you go to the link, you have to make sure you select the 2' version for the $45.
