- Wondering what it's like living in Tucker Georgia? In this video, I will give you a complete tour of the City of Tucker, an Atlanta suburb, including Tucker's downtown area, the main shopping district, we'll check out some of the parks including Henderson Park, and also discuss the types of homes you can find in Tucker (hint, lots of sprawling ranch style homes but there are some newer, traditional styles mixed in as well). Tucker is an Atlanta suburb just about 25 minutes from Downtown Atlanta. Many choose Tucker for its proximity to Atlanta and also Tucker Georgia is one of the more affordable suburbs of Atlanta. Tucker has a small town feel with a friendly vibe that many choose to call home.

Ooh Wow... You just brought back so many memories. Ive been thinking about buying a rental in tucker. I just love that area so much!. I Actually worked at the Best Buy Across the Street from Northlake in high school, and use to coach gymnastics at the Tucker rec (It used to be called Tucker Tucks) before starting a boys team in Downtown Decatur. I moved from Chicago to CLarkston GA then tucker and I Miss being there too much. Ive since then moved to LA for 10 years.. and now im living in The Netherlands and just bought my first Home here.
But I can't help but just love Tucker and still want to buy something there. I thought about it a lot and if we were to move back to the states.. I think it would be back to GA in Tucker. So I would love to buy a Rental just to have for the family. Also that restaurant Local 7 is my friends restaurant! his name is lui! we actually coached together as AGC. I think I might just need to move back to ATL. 🥺

I like the Tucker movie tavern, that whole shopping center is has a dated 1980s design. 20 year Gwinnett resident , I would go from the country side to downtown ATLANTA on a bike. The Buford HWY area seems old but there's alot of nice people there, hibachi restaurants, and I feel comfortable there but no place is perfect 😮i did see a few people who seemed aggressive So I'm guessing there's a drug problem in the area. I moved out of the area, Gwinnett County police has a few "monsters" on the force. One of my friends worked for them 10 years and decided to leave after a "soft" threat from one of the higher ups 😮. Just a reminder to have that camera ready 🎉.
I do miss it and I may return someday and live a quiet life. I'm living in an expensive city and YES it was exciting the first 6 months but the people here are very trashy 😢 Hit and Runs , trash dumps , and inconsiderate people in general. I visited a walking trail and at the entrance was a bunch of used up toilet paper 😮 I've also seen orange needle caps over there. .
Oh geesh! Sounds not so glamorous on where you are now (I think every city has its downsides). I enjoyed reading your memories from living in the Gwinnett area back in the day.
