Definitely one of the greatest songs of all time! It is difficult to listen to with goosebumps for nine minutes. This dark period of human history should never be forgotten. This song embodies the grief and horror of those bloody coffin ships.

I needed this today as I'm hungover and yet again Texas is having another dreary day of rain and unusual temps. My husband and I have a friend over and have a pork loin and brisket to roast so this set the mood! Now for hair of the dog! Cheers!
The song I listen when I'm in a sad and hurt state of being. Resonates deeply. Being descended from a good pour of Connemara blood just makes it so much more. Pretty sure that beginning riff is always a good neck work out too.
