From the very beginning, I fell in love with her way of performing. Anytime you hear her voice she recreates the song into something that gets deeper and deeper into your soul. This is outstanding.

I think she's amazing. God knows what's going on in her head when she's performing, but it's very visceral and stunning music. A lot of intrigue for me.

This is just perfect. Even better than the studio version, which is quite good already. The keyboard player looks mildly uninterested in the whole thing, but his voice blends with the lead vocals just great. Just phenomenal.

Interesting take. In the context of the lines before and after I'd figured that line represents deliberately killing or putting an end to something.
That is what she said. I think it clearly means “Hello Mr. Ferret, please follow me to the egg” rather than “Hey egg, look over there, it’s a ferret!” The second version is just silly and couldn’t possibly be correct.

And the lyrics. Profound, confusing, meaningless...whatev, they're cast into a beautifully _musical_ structure where they go where words like "baby" and "Oooh yeah" might otherwise be. Which means they come through as if they mean something. Interesting artist.

Picking up a little Welsh accent here Aldous , as ever a transcendant performance .
It's very interesting you say that. When I first heard this song on the radio I was convinced it was the Welsh singer Cate Le Bon. I since found out that it's Aldous Harding and she is a Kiwi. The keyboardist in this video is H Hawkline who is himself Welsh and previously used to play with Cate Le Bon.
