❤what a great video. Mr. Super you are a very smart man that has so much knowledge. Some detector company needs to snatch you up and put you to work doing what you love to do. Thank you sir for doing what you to do to help people to learn. You are one of a kind for sure "Bring It"
This was a great video, That is what I find with my Deus 2, once I find one coin you go over and over in all kinds of angles to suck out as many as I can. This was an eye opener like you said.
Funny you talk about the bobby pins masking the good stuff. I will rotate on the bobby tone signals and If they have any stutter or start jumping up on the id scale I’ll dig them and usually will also find a coin or jewelry next to them.
That happens to me quite often. I just dig everything in totlots. I get surprised A LOT!! The new D2 software is very very hot on those hairpins...I like!!
I got a iron tone last time I was in a totlot, I dug iand it was a bff half heart on a chain, probably dropped on canada day the day before, it waat the park that held canada day celebrations
don't get insulted, but I am new to detecting, i bought a whites mx7-looking at video to see what to do -I saw a few of yours but wasn't too interested because you weren't using a whites but then I saw the video where you shaved 1/2 your face ,and I thought this guy is crazy, he must be a genius. and I went back saw most of your vids and you are the most knowledgeable on how these things work and a good teacher and joy to watch thanks for spending the time sorting things out for us.i have a large piece of forest in the catskill mountains but only found horse shoes and rr spikes so far-but I have many stone walls I want to detect-i saw not Thursday vids and it seems a good place to detect.
I would not go that far as to say I am a genus....but I am fucking crazy!! Horseshoes are my favorite finds. I freak out when I find horseshoes. If you are hunting around stone walls....you are on to a great great spot. The MX7 is a good machine. My buddy Jim used the MX7 in many many of my videos about 3 years ago. He hunted in 2 tone and found lots of great stuff. Jim did go through many armcuffs on the MX7. I used the MX Sport for about 1 year. The MX sport and MX7 are basically the same detector but the MX Sport is waterproof and very robust. I used coin and jewelry on the MX Sport in 20 tone. The 7" DD coil is super awesome on the MX7. You will have to figure out what works best for your ears.
I would love to see you adjust settings on the Legend and D2 to see what works to hit those coins on a bench test. If its even possible. Love your videos Paystreak
Not possible!! Detectors will hit it going perpendicular but not down the barrel. It may be possible if you overtune the detector...but we all know what an overtuned detetcor does in the real world...it becomes unstable and falses on the ground and minerals.
just found your channnel and love it. So the BH is great for stuff on the surface but not buried stuff? Found a BH lone star pro for $65 and wonder if its worth buying.
I bought a 7 inch concentric coil for my Kruzer before I had my Legend. Honestly it was a killer coil in iron AND it was light years ahead when it comes to Iding iron. That was my go to for park hunting too, it was just amazing. I rarely ever dug bottle caps with that coil. My DD coils all made bottle caps sound like silver. There's no long line of a detection zone on concentric coils. Every direction is the same. I wish Nokta would make that coil for the Legend.......I'd buy it seriously. The only advantage to DD coils is the larger detection zone is more forgiving, as in you don't have to overlap your swings so much so you can cover ground faster without missing targets. On ground you have to work slow however........concentric is the way to go.
If there were a concentric coil offered for the Legend or the D2...I would be first in line to buy one. Concentric coils would be a great addition to the new detectors.
It is the low frequency and concentric coil on the Bounty Hunter that makes it perform well on these bench tests with nails. The Bounty hunter' low frequency does not perform well at all in my mineralized ground.
The good thing For us is alot of folks will descriminate out or ignore the iron and if they do dig it and find the iron and will not recheck the hole.😊
cant really tell the diffrance between single freq or multi freq detector found silver with single freq large after market coils most of the silvers i found was with a single freq detectors when i first started was a garett TR unit guess if you are on a budget or you can spend more at least theirs lots of metal detectors makers
BH operates at 7khz. If you have a multi frequency detector, cycle through the frequencies while swinging next to big iron pipe, also adjust the recovery speed low to high while swinging near the iron pipes.
You are right!! But!! just because a detector performs well on a bench test, it does not mean that detector will perform well in the real world. I am much more interested in the real world live dig comparison tests.
@@PaystreakSuperfreak so true Jeremy! Soil conditions such as moisture, mineralization as well as many other factors will definitely play a big factor in the preforomince of the detector. Thanks for sharing brother 💪
Interesting. Didn’t you do a video some time ago..Said you hunted and would come home and bench test in your house up into the hours of the night. Why? Seems contradictory to what you say in this video. Can I see some things doing testing that sheds light on detector performance? Yep.

I field test for manufacturers. I am not paid for my services.
Very much enjoy your different testing videos! Keep em comming!
Thanks, will do!

I agree that new machines can be a pain sometimes. I feel like I've learned so much but still have so much to learn.
I am always learning too!!
Always do a 360° swing on your targets and your troubles will disappear.
Very cool test
Glad you liked it
wow I can't believe what I just seen🤣🤣. that's just unbelievable great video bro
Thanks 👍
Thanks!!! Super!!!
Glad you like it!
Great Video mate Thankyou
Glad you enjoyed it Shane!!
@@PaystreakSuperfreak your welcome Jeremy i have been following now for over 2 1/2 years and love your videos thanks again from Brisbane Australia

It would be a good first machine, $65 is reasonable. Take some coins to test it.

Be good if the Deus had a coil that could be switched from concentric to double D as it seems Concentric still has a place?
Concentric coils do have a place still.
Insane, that is unbelievable! It must be the round coil. Funny test, but real detecting is somewhat different, You are right I guess.
It is the low frequency and concentric coil on the Bounty Hunter that makes it perform well on these bench tests with nails. The Bounty hunter' low frequency does not perform well at all in my mineralized ground.
its the difference concentric vs dd coil good vid
The concentric design and the frequency.
I notice you went all out on your pool. LOL!!!
My roommate got that pool. Mosquito breeding ground right there!!

Hmmm, why does it get overloaded by the big iron in the playgrounds? But it can cut right through that small iron?
BH operates at 7khz. If you have a multi frequency detector, cycle through the frequencies while swinging next to big iron pipe, also adjust the recovery speed low to high while swinging near the iron pipes.
The lower frequencies are powerful and overload on large targets.
Good information.
High frequency love high speed
Concentric coils have always passed the down the barrel test it’s nothing new but I guess you already knew that since you’re a veteran of detecting
Many differences in performance of concentric coils compared to DD coils. I have used coaxial coils many years ago too.
Must be the concentric coil and 8khz operating frequency 🤷 craziness!😜
You are right!! But!! just because a detector performs well on a bench test, it does not mean that detector will perform well in the real world. I am much more interested in the real world live dig comparison tests.

I wonder if a Tesoro would react the same as the Bounty Hunter.
Probably very similar.
Yes, did that test on the cibola
You da 💩 big guy 🤟💯
Anything over 4 inches deep that bounty hunter is going to have trouble
3"
