    I'll share a little story about multi. So in a sports complex where I live they have some batting cages that take coins. Outside of the cages is a small grassy area.....maybe 10 by 30 feet of grass. Not large. For those who don't know, modern Canadian clad is steel core and a majority of it rings up like pure iron or sketchy like bottle caps. Everyone has been hunting this bit of grass and found a few coins but mostly iron. I went over it in M1 and M2 with my Legend and found a few coins........lots of iron. I then decided to go over it in 40khz hoping to find some small lost gold or whatever. I pulled about 55 dollars in clad that had been sitting there that nobody including myself had ever found before lol. It all rang in as iron or sketchy at best previously but in 40khz it just sang! Nobody had previously used a 40khz machine there ever though..........and since then I've been killin it everywhere in 40khz. Had one of my best clad years ever and found out that most of the iron tones in all of my parks are actually partially rusty coins! Once I clean them up half my Legend will be paid for in about 3 months of clad..........not including the gold and silver I also found. Amazing! Don't depend on multi as the solution to everything, it's NOT! The only time I ever use it anymore is when I want to find deeper older Canadian coins which are copper or silver. They're usually very deep in my harsh soil and M1 or 4khz is the only real way to hit them at all.

      So many people just stake their pride, ego and reputation on multi frequency. I tune my detector in to find the most targets. Many times single frequency will find more targets faster because less interference. I can put more power to the coil with single frequency than multi.

    The Legend was capable at unmasking the iron, of course you know that already lol I’m glad your feeling better Superfreak❤️

      My Magic program will unmask but I never use the magic program in the field.

    Paystreak the V8X coil is out now for the Xterra Pro great little coil. Hopefully you can get one and do more testing with the 8 inch coil

    Another clear demonstration as to why some of us pay up for the D2 and why it’s priced in a different bracket, nicely done.

    I have a lot of iron in my yard i know i am missing stuff i am using the xtp and was wondering if you were able to find the sweet spot on the xterra for this situation i realize the D2 got it done but i have the xtp LOL help me out brother i really like using field 1 in my hot soil, with between 18-20 frequency, 15 khz, All tones, recovery speed 3 but im sure i could tune it in a little better. LOTS of old nails in my yard LOTSS

      Your settings are pretty much the same as what I came up with. The XTP does not have many settings to make it fine tunable to iron. I think pitch tones would work better in dense iron.

      There's More Hidden Features Settings that alot of people are not even showed on the X-Terra Pro and you can finesse them and get rid of the Iron, but each place is going to be Site Dependent on the X-Terra Pro Settings and possibly mask other targets but the X-Terra Pro is a Great Detector that you can learn from. and get to know it...... and it will find the Targets....... and Paystreak has scrolled past one of the X-Terra Pro Settings and has never changed it on Any of the X-Terra Pro videos that I have been watching when he's using the X-Terra Pro and it's not hard to get to the other hidden features settings on the X-Terra Pro......

    thank you so much for this demonstration, i've been trying to learn more about the frequencies lately.
    is there anywhere where you do recommend multi on the legend? and do you dig out big iron at your favorite spots if you need to? i keep digging out old glass bottles, cans, and stuff like an entire iron gas engine muffler from a tree where i've found a couple old coins at to try to clear the ground.

    • @PaystreakSuperfreak
      @PaystreakSuperfreak  Před 7 měsíci +1

      The spots that have been my biggest producers of relics and silver...gotta dig all the iron!!!! Once you start digging the large iron at the good sites...that site comes back alive with great finds,

    How about senitive ft with same settings but changing freq to 24khz instead of 40khz does that change te the outcome?

    • @PaystreakSuperfreak
      @PaystreakSuperfreak  Před 7 měsíci +1

      It will change the outcome!! 40khz seems to work better in my soil and get me targets faster.

      The 40kHz makes the total signale more diggable 😂
      So the chance to get some gold on iron infested site is higher.
