I found a thing today that looked exactly like a ring but its not, no clue what it is, i think it held on to something, also found a 1943 king george almost right on the surface, less than a inch deep, and then a bunch of teachers showed up even though its summer break so i skedaddled

i`m hearing rumours about a HF MFM coil in the works . if its true i`ll most likely put my D1 on the shelf for good . because the only reason im still using it is because of the HF coils , in heavy trash

Regarding the target ID, keep in mind each target block on the scale is allotted four numbers. Your never going to get rock steady VDI numbers on the X-Terra due to this and the unit being a single frequency unit. No update is going to change that unless it was built in to the capabilities of the hardware when designed by the engineers.

HA! There's a local public pool at a park in my town. One time I found a key and indeed it WAS the key to unlock the gate around the pool. I laughed so hard. Unlocked the gate....found a few bucks in change and a junker ring. Then I dropped it in the mail slot of the park office. 🤣

Hello Jeremy, how many needles you usually find while metal-detecting?

Last week I was moving thru a tot lot just searching for targets when I encountered a used condom. I tried using the edge of the detector coil to flick it out of the way when disaster struck. Instead of flicking the condom out of the way the coil stuck to it and the momentum made the condom swing back over the coil edge and dangle and about the time I realized what had happened it started dripping. I found a creek and wiggled the coil under water until the nasty bastard floated away but I really don't want to even touch the coil anymore. You never know what you might find in a tot lot.

Can't tell you how many times i have hit my head in tot lots, having too much fun, I guess 🙃

The word on the street is XP might be launching a replacement of the DEUS II by either late this year or early next (a Deus III, perhaps??). Possibiities of faster processor and new chipset, color display and revamed Menus to capture the popularity of the Manticore’s design infor the controller. And the call for a software re-write to fix the prior various upgrades. Seems credible enough that I’ll wait before buying into the DEUS II platform. I recently purchased the new Xterra Elite Expidition pack that is a decendant of the Manticore and the new 700/900 series and find it to be great at unmasking. Iffy Signas just did an unmasking video of the Elite and the Triple Score and his demo with a Deus II had the Elite and Triple score do better in his test. Interesting times.

This right here is why I always watch your videos. That ring sounded junky indeed. why do you think it sounded that way? I heard grunts and chirps and all sorts of tones that normally prove to be folded up foil. I am swinging a D2 now too after watching your videos I find it more fun than my old Legend.

out of all the detectors I have the Deus 1 with the HF coil is still my favorite

Ive been having issues with my brand new elliptical coil, it seems to just run out of battery so fast, the charging light kinda flickers on my mine i dont know if thats an issue, ive had the light on all night before and it didnt turn off How many hours do you get out if the elliptical coil?
