Another brilliant video Paystreak. What I can't understand is why simple separation issues weren't picked up by Nokta/Makro earlier? I've seen a few tests where it fails badly on the beach and in iron. It's almost like the their interpretation of Multi frequency has taken a leap back in time to the days of the first FBS machines with the same separation qualities. It's a shame because Nokta/Makro are good value for money but there just seem to be so many simple flaws that should of been addressed earlier before the release. XP FMF is light years ahead in terms of performance. Yes you pay more but you're getting the real deal aren't you.
For the price difference, there should be a big difference in performance. That Deus 2 is nice. I would have to find many silvers in iron to make up for the difference in price though. No doubt though, the Deus is top shelf performance.
I'd refer back to 4 days ago and 6 days ago,1893 indian and 2 wheats in a pounded curb strip with iron in the hole and the others with the legend on fire in the iron.The coins make a strong halo in the ground and i believe iron fades somewhat so then I refer to your words of wisdom about testing vs real life and wonder why configure this test at all. I believe the legend popped out some stuff where you had been on the same exact spot with the deus 2 right before that.Love the videos and your determination.
Stuff pops out from sites ran over 40 years! I hunt a union railroad fort 30yds wide 70 long after colleges excavated for years,other detectorist and by years I mean 35,40 no stretch just what the property owner told me and have hit it myself atleast 40,60 hours and NEVER walked away empty handed NEVER! It's honestly quite nutty and should be taken in and not forgotten. Easy to walk over things many times very easy. Test are heads up and tell alot because it's one scenario HEADS UP

I was referring specifically to Jeremy's recent succuess where he very thoroughly detected recently especially curb strips that are small and his comments during those videos.Thats why I referred to those videos and wasnt speaking in general.He also said in one of his first legend videos that in the field tells what you need to know and setting up tests does not.The proof is in the videos like paystreak always says and the legend has been exceeding his expectations in iron and pounded areas.Sensitivity can do many things when there is no ground involved when the machine is designed to look in the ground.I dont do any test except to see vdi personally.
I went from a multi kruzer to a deus 1 and honestly felt like my multi kruzer was a better machine , went back to productive sites with my deus and realized the multi kruzer didn’t miss much
i was looking to buy a DEUS-1. now that the DEUS-2 came out, im intrigued. looking at your vids i have quite a mixed feeling for the newest version. i want 9ne bad but the budget is sketchy these days. woulf you go for an older DEUS or the newest one ??? thanks
You wouldnt havevthe same issues as paystreak most likely anyway. He has things in his head from older version that just arent carrying over while causing himself to muddy it up a bit imho! Human kind tends to do these things through bais,subconcious,expectation many many things! Its complicated. Lol No offense of course in my humble opinion. I'm a fan,watch daily and listen for things that fit myself because that's the only way to grow ones self!
Do you all think that some folks jive with certain detectors while causing struggles with other? I've seen buddies of mine go from simple to advanced and do worse and never learning it all the while ruining the experience for themselves because they dont have the capacity to see this for what it is.? What's your thoughts on this? I've seen great detectorist using the equinox and just not getting along what so ever but can use deus and its broad across the board to this phenomenon. While others take same struggling machine and just is extension of arm.

While the Deus 2 could be amazing. With my settings on the Nox and the 9.5x5 elliptical I am getting brilliant results in dense iron and with better depth. My soil is full of iron oxide and many iron nails and objects. I can pull 10 bits of iron out of one small hole. I am using multifrequency and its getting the small non ferrous objects. Some bits very tiny. I am not making excuses for the Minelab non response to emails which is very bad. But the Nox is killing it on my difficult iron ground. I pulled out 3 artefacts 200-400 years old and a tiny Stirling silver teardrop loop in a one hour dig on my small plot two days ago. The Legend was pulling stuff the Deus missed in your video so the real test is what it finds in your ground and not air tests. As a reality check my Deus 1 has been out of action 2 weeks because my wireless headphones failed. So I have found reliability problems with the XP headphones. I calculate there are around 20,000 objects in my small plot so it will take quite a while to get them out. Probably 14,000 are iron. My advice is go by what you find.
Seen some other videos of the Legend with the iron break set down to 7 or so (from the default of 10) and it making a large difference. Can you update your test with the iron break lower to compare?
I have tried testing the ORX at this sidewalk. It goes absolutely bat shit crazy with EMI. The ORX does not like urban areas. It may do well in a farm field in clean soil. I did not have good results with the ORX in real world hunting in parks and trash.
My ORX is very good. I have the 11" coil on my deus2 so i could get it quicker . When I get my 9" coil for the deus2 I will do a good test between the two .

I have been running the tone break at 7 for the last 2 days....performing very very well
The iron filter was a default at 8 on the Legend before they gave us the freedom to adjust the iron

lower the tone break for iron to 5, tone break 10 is to high!
How does the deus 1 do on it?

The legend is a toy compared to the Deus.
Maybe in the iron the Deus 2 is way ahead. But in parks...not much difference in performance. The Deus is really lightweight and the Legend is a tank.
