I got this game for free on Google play during sale. It's a fine turn based combat with a catching monsters gimmick. What I really liked (not saying it was perfect) was the lore, with many characters throughout different ages dealing with different conflicts that shaped that continent. I wish I saw this world in the hands of a more competent and experimental (willing to take risks) company, that didn't rely so heavily in events and gacha mechanics, with some of the worst chances of actually getting something out there. I've played other gachas with better odds for the player, evertale isn't one of them.
yeah i've been playing evertale since release. same with you, the lore is absolutely awesome. but yeah it's getting quiet after you finish the main story and the events.
it's still fun for secondary gacha game. and ofc, stays for the plot.
Same, the plot and the battle mechanic is pretty much the only reason I even continue playing
It's just sad that the devs are doing such a bad job with everything else
Lmao I dunno why I stayed but at this point I just do all dailies, raids and wars.
And I'm basically staying just for friends I made along the way.

Played Evertale around 2 years ago (got it for free). The first chapter of the game, the RPG pokemon-like part was very creative and f2p-friendly. However, once you've beaten that part, it becomes a generic gacha game with bad gacha rates. You also have to pull for dupes to get a unit to full strength, which is needed if you want to beat the later non-RPG chapters. There's also a PvP arena which is dominated by whales. I quit after a month of playing as I couldn't stand the gacha. Then these ADs appeared and I did go back to check if the game had a horror twist added to it, or if it had a major update. Absolutely disappointed to find that the ads were all a hoax.
I used to play evertale long before I saw those commercials. Had to go back and check that it was the same game.

All Mobi games like these do things like this! State of survival, Rise of kingdoms etc....! You know that you have no trust in the product that you're selling if you pull this bs!

Honest opinion here. Play Evertale. When you beat it, its not worth playing anymore, trust me. But until then, absolutely a very high quality mobile game.

And ngl you nave game like guardian tale which is free and is f2p friendly but this game is the completd opposite ngl im pretty sure most of the budget in the game went into the art for the character :/
If anuthing i wouldn't reccomend playing it if anything your better off playing genshin impact or guardian tale if you wanna play a gacha game but im still gonna play it because i wanna finish the story :/

I played it since 1.0 and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The drop rates are hell, og classic units treated like shit, newer units getting more op(for eg. djeanne ofcs even at zero ascend), devs are crazy money milkers, no creativity at all, zero development, money based, basically no whale no living. imagine spend all your hardworks for saving tons of currency for zero ssr in exchange. imagine maxing your fav units(if you're an old player) just to see it becomes a piece of paper by new units.

Who hurt you? Some regular SR units when built right, can eclipse even SSR units at the same tier. Now I'm saying this based on the zero ascension,but depending on how you decide to flesh out your SR units, you can progress through pretty much anything, pvp included, WITHOUT PAYING A SINGLE CENT. Progressed till over level 110 before I saw my first SSR unit, and all it took was me saving two weeks worth of gems and praying to the RNG gods on every shine.
Besides, free units are basically sub SSR units in disguise lol
@@cjofulue5218 Well I agree when I first started playing Evertale I only have SRs and R units. Back then getting ss is quite difficult to get compared to Evertale 2.0, this is like the one positive of it.
The ads are really bad due to being false protrayals of the game, but Evertale is actually a hell ton of fun! The gacha mechanic can be really frustrating, though.
It's not only that, but the game itself is literally pay-to-win on top of being a paid game. It's top-tier waifu coombait p2w garbage. You literally cannot beat the game without the rare waifu characters.
Im F2p player, playing this game for 6 months, doing pretty good in the game and loving each new story updates.
I after 1 months of playing loved it so much, that I even opened other more 5 accounts for better start. Currently I am continuing with only 3, as the others didn't go as well as I intended it too.
The game is not money hungry, but they do give u options for it if u wanna play with money. One just have to be patient if they r a F2p player like me, and had to collect a lot of stones before summoning.
Ah yes, I do agree myself. Also include: False advertising, inappropriate age rating for a 12+, super low gacha rates, abandoned story mode for over a year, extreme lewd fan service, imbalanced game.

I got this game about 2 years ago because of an ad. That time the ads were actually truthful lol. Not sure why mobile games are doing this. Also I think because of the false advertising, the rating dropped from 4.6 to 4.3
At this point I just do the dailies and shit.

This one is very easy. Evertale has some magnificant Code-Eastereggs. There is this Summoncrystal-Well. You give some crystals, you get more.
As long, as you havent finished the offline story, so the random and "story-random weapon shop", the Well dosent regonise his given Crystals (He thinks, you have paid for them).
The whole pay to play part is based on the fact, that the game divied your offline time to your online time in payed and unpaid game time, by reconising your gametime. Thats makes it a little bit different, because, it explains the difference between long-term-short time gameplays (You pay for a summon more than you pay for a full game) and long-term-long and long playtime (Dookan Battle).
The Same concept, you can find on the Rabatt system on the apk in the playstore - , that "crawlingsystem" google play has for google pay spended the crowdreporters (Because Google, as example on porn, is there subjectiv). So - Evertale is always on the run to be a rabatt, when you have the chance to play the game, while you can get in one month daily your first 3000 Crystals, whats most of the time is after or while your "monthly 100 Crystals" but not in times, where the well takes 4 weeks.

Played for a bit until I realized the gacha rates were abysmal even for a gacha, especially since weapons were in the same pool as the chracter and also most units were just copies of each other that just had more stats with higher rarities.

i got this game for free on google play. it says it was on sale, but no matter when i looked at it it was always on sale..
some people just play these gachas as a daily loggin to summon boobas, stop thinking so much about it and just look at boobas youll feel better lol.
those character images are different than the ones i got in evertale. also i managed to get it for free instead of a dollar as it has been.
It's because after the version 2.0 was released, they changed most of the character designs and some stories. It was better before ngl
I beat the main story of this game a few years ago and had uninstalled it at some point. Recently tried to get back into it and found all my progress gone with no way of recovery...

Edit: Just fire up Evertale as I have it in my Phone for a long time and the character's art change from decent to wtf for the female character's art.
I'am f2p in evertale playing around 1 month and i have now Full SSR characters and 15kk Power. For me us a great rpg.

If you are looking for a pokemon-like game, then evertale is not the answer. Evertale is a turn based RPG, a pretty good one.
If you want something like pokemon, i would try neo monsters, from the same studio.
Funny enough, if you look turnbased rpg in the playstore, evertale is the first to pop up, but yes, they do advertise it as a pokemon-like game...
I`ve met this game while looking for a good RPG, so i`ve never got dissapointed, but most comments in the ratings show how misleading the advertising is.

I'm still playing this game lmao, just for Gacha simulator and my Gacha Satisfaction. They give us double your diamonds every 2 weeks so as long as I'm not over spending, I can Gacha as much as I wanted to.

@@rhadeniz actually i've played both of those two. and brave frontier, AFK Arena, Unison League, League of Pantheons, Mitrasphere, Summoners War, Arcana Tactics, Battle Camp, Battlejack, Battlehand, Crash Fever, Elora's Raid, HonorBound, Knights and Dragons etc etc.
from your comment i can tell that you've mainly played games with high rates to feel like you're lucky when you're really not.
@@rhadeniz another thing i would like to note is that there is a fountain event twice a month, so there is literally 0 requirements to spend cash. This also means that while it may take some time to fully awaken characters/save up, it's still quite easy if you play smart and invest your resources wisely.
