The Final Shape is just a week away so I thought I would share everything I’m taking into the new expansion, from materials, builds, weapons, and everything in between. And hopefully you can use this as a Final Shape prep guide for yourself.

fyi anyone saying that bounty prep is worthless didn't fully understand what bungie was saying. The only bounties going away are ritual (gambit, vanguard and crucible) and seasonal bounties since that content is also going away come final shape. Any other bounties will remain in the game.

@@moaazali6016They start in week 2, two weeks from the raid. Whatever activity that we will be able to farm with them unlocks at that weekly reset

Exotic Class items will be farmable from a designated activity in Week 2 when Episode: Echos officially starts. That's also when we get the pass. Confirmed by Catalina on X. She's a dev, she also stated that the XP is retroactive so the XP we earn Day 1/Week 1 will go towards the pass in week 2 :) Also I belive it's also confirmed we won't get the new exotic armor until we hit the first rank with Rahool which Bungie stated Tier 2 focusing will be the most efficient way. "Tier 2 focusing" is selecting the specific exotic armor piece of your choice not just the engrams. I believe they stated once that first rank is reached Then you can start getting the new stuff. ❤
As much as I’d love to do this, I feel like I only have time in my life to do this once my work and married life responsibilities are taken care of. Is there a cheat guide to where we can get prepared for Final Shape if we work over 40 hour work weeks?
just try to finish exotic quests, and get 5 red borders of scatter signal, doomed petitioner, eremite, regnant and subjunctive. There is no need to bounty prep unless you are doing day 1 raid. Also i don't understand why people try to rush... just enjoy the expansion lol

I have this problem too. I focus on only a few weapons to chase, spending deprecated currency, doing destination bounties for the last couple days (not as good as weekly, but MUCH faster), and putting a build or two together so I can go right into the new campaign. I also saved some engrams and make sure I have space on my character for new drops so they don't go to Postmaster.
Lastly, remember not to turn in your saved bounties until after you get the artifact for the season.
Great guide... question tho, how do I move resources like harmonisers and cores into the vault or is it only postmaster we can use??? I see this on content creator vids where they show these items in the vault but is it just for prop sake in the vid?
Has it been revealed that we’re getting an artifact? The actual season echoes doesn’t start until the following Tuesday so that means we would get it then right?
In beyond light we didn't get the seasonal story until 1 week later. But we still unlocked the artifact on launch.

I don't see them ever getting rid of the artifact. It allows them to shake up the meta without it being as permanent as actual nerfs/buffs.

I’m a solo player that played the first encounter of the new dungeon on fire team finder 1 time and got lead from gold/voltshot my very first try lol now it’s my primary for damn near everything it almost makes the game too easy

Exotic Class Items will drop from a new activity after the raid is cleared; which Bungie said it'll be farmable. So, don't expect them to be focusable with Rahool
Silly question here but I was on my way to grab all available bounties to complete them, but then as I reached 21 bounties the game didn't let pick more, even though I still clearly have 7 slots empty.. Any reason why? Or am I missing something?

Delete some quests, bounties and quests both count as the same thing for some reason

I am super prepared I got many exotic weapons ready like the deterministic chaos hawkmoon osteo Strega forerunner tessellation vexcalibur dragon breath winterbite whisper of the worm and my 2 favorite exotic weapons outbreak perfected and quicksilver storm
What do exotic weapons have to do with being prepared?
We have no idea what’s going to be good or bad, you should have every exotic weapon in the game at this point.
You need to have max currency, bounties etc to be “prepared”.

Bungie already said the exotic class items won't come from the cryptarch they will be from a activity that comes out after the raid
I hope my Forsaken exotic cipher is able to be turned in still once Final Shape drops. I've been holding on to that thing for over a year as it counts as a 6th exotic cipher in my inventory....for the moment.

Don't Lost Sectors already drop engrams if your engram slots are full? Do you think they will auto-decode post-Final Shape launch when pulling from Postmaster? Might be a strat. I used to use this trick for IB engrams to get new drops before the first IB week in a new season.
I go into an expansion without prep and always do fine. Theres no rush. Even day 1 people dont prep like this.

You should use Thorn instead of Striga, they added a 4s cooldown to it's poison explosions

Rahool will be updated to being your source of new exotics. You focus them from him!

You will be stocked up on upgrade modules after completing the legendary campaign ;)
Remember not to pop them until you get the artifact; ideally with fireteam members for the bonus xp also.
How the heck do you get harmonziers into the vault???
You should also save your trophies of bravery for next week, ideally 3108 (777 in inventory and each postmaster).

@@J-Dizzle95 Final shape isn't this Tuesday, it's on the 4th. This Tuesday bungie is doubling the drop rate for shiny weapons.

@@spectre7195yeah it's Hella expensive though, unless they make an easier way to earn ascendant shards, your average player is not going to be able to focus exotics very often.

I have a parabellum smg with 100 recoil direction+78 stability+ field tested as origin trait
I have an immortal with 100 recoil direction+50 stability+ field tested as origin trait ( no other stability perk) and this smg somehow more accurate than my parabellum
@@csorbalaszlo1920 Yes, even my Funnel-web with 85 recoil and less stability is still easier to handle, even though Recluse is so similar and should be better on paper.
How to get more legendary shards?
Don't bother if don't have any, they are getting removed anyways.
Bounty system isnt carrying over they said to not hold them cuz they wont work

It will though. Decrypt those engrams with rahool and you will level him up. He's changing in final shape.

The only bounties that are going away are Gambit, Vanguard and Crucible.

They’ve explicitly said to spend them because they are going to just delete them so I wouldn’t bet on it. Just spend them on raid banners
As a software developer, there is no reason to keep a reference/count to something you have no use for. They have repeatedly had issues with currencies and inventory slots due to original design. They 100% will be just deleting legendary shards from their system
