- I track test this wild 1966 Chevy Corvette Racer and a V12 Lamborghini Murcielago LP640. Old school muscle car vs high tech supercar. Two cars worlds apart! This 66 Corvette has an extensive racing history in Europe and places like Spa and also Goodwood festival with the late Peter Brock at the wheel.
At Master of Machines we'll check out anything with wheels or an engine, from American Muscle Cars, Australian Muscle Cars, Japanese Cars, European Cars, Classic Cars, Vintage Cars, Race Cars, Vintage Racers, Historic Race Cars, Pro Touring, Street Machines, Speedway, Aircraft, Engines, Motorcycles, Trucks, you name it, even a military tank! If it's super cool we'll cover it, and not only that, in many cases, we'll even drive, race or ride them!
Passionate car guy and Master of Machines host Glenn Everitt has extensive experience in the Automotive Industry, as a high performance technician, auto mechanic and dyno tuner, including other industries such as auto restoration and auto detailing. He's a lifelong racer too, born into a motorsport family and starting with road racing from the age of 14, and also competing in Drag Racing to help promote his dyno shop for many years. He's also passionate about two wheels as well, having started out on dirt bikes, then moving to Sports bikes of all kinds. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
What an experience you've got there🤩👍!
Appreciating the old and the new, that's how it's done!
C2 vettes are by far the best looking IMHO. Awesome.
This channel is so good, it’s rediculous
Glad you like what we do mate. 👍
A 12-channel stereo.....Brilliant!
Great stuff Greg, your living our dream. We watch you have lots of fun and all we can do is drule :-)
Thanks mate! Glad I can take you along for the ride. :-)
I want to go work on my '66 Sting Ray coupe but it's too cold and starting to rain, mine is a tele column car too!
But why is this a "big" Corvette, lol, Tidy driving, nice job!
c2 racer is epic 👍
Lotsa dollars there Glenn 👍
Sure is. :-)
Is this that old chevy type of car in that song private malone?
I didn't know older cars could turn 7000 RPM. What a beast
They sure can! The 427 L88 race cars could pull 7,200 all day with occasional pulls up to 7,600!
@@chrisgersman4639 yeah that's surprising, only non sportier ones rev out to 5300
In 1967 the F1 cars were doing 10,000 rpms out of the 3 liter formula.
I own a '66 Corvette. Depending on what engine you had that year, the tachometers could show a 6500 rpm redline...on a street engine. The solid lifter cars could take more rpm. But that doesn't mean that in the 21st century there's a rule that says an old engine can't be built to acheive higher rpms.
Music ruins the video. It's really not needed & cheapens the production. Cool Vette though. Love those cars 1963-1972 Model Years. Had three of them- the 327 is the best engine GM ever made of their small block line. You can get tons of power from them even in an all cast iron engine. Plus they sound perfect.
