This worked for me on my 2017 xc90. Wish it didn’t have to plugged in though.

In mine car is not working,is charging the phone but i cannot conect the car play
Depending on model of phone and car, it might not be compatible. Taking your vehicle to your nearest service center would be best.

Making sure phone and vehicles are compatible. There has been updated features regarding infotainment over time, so making sure all devices are updated as well. In any case, contacting your local Volvo service center is advised.

My Volvo V90 only has Apple CarPlay and no Android Auto. How is this possible?
