Hi, I wonder if Android Auto occupy only bottom of the screen? Specially for maps it will be handy to have it fullscreen or at least on the top of the screen (better viewing angle while driving), but this apply also to other use of android auto on the screen. I consider lower parts of screen as not very good option for such usecase...
Most car displays are not tall/vertically orientated in the Volvo and Android Auto is configured to run on horizontal screen that you would typically find in most cars or aftermarket head units. But yeah, having full screen Google maps on a vertical screen like that would give you way more visibility on your route.
I have xc90 2019 model mild Hybrid Diesel, but doesn't have Android auto or carplay icons, does it mean I can't have Android auto feature? I do have 2x usb ports one highlighted with white outline, I connected usb but nothing happens :( can you advise?
@@honeybrar2008just fixed this problem, you must upgrade software at volvo to get android auto and applecar play, I did it, it costs 300£ now it works

I have a 2017 V90 but only have 1 USB within the armrest😔. No android auto for me....
There is a beep every time a key is pressed. Mobile phones sounded like that 15 years ago... Why is it on, is it on by default? Very annoying!
You want that on a car so you know the car has revived the input and you don't need to look at the screen to confirm it has been pressed.
