  • This is a time lapse video of me assembling the wedding arch I built for my daughter. It is very strong, and can be assembled in less than 9 minutes. You can disassemble it for storage (approx 48"x12").
    Also can be transported partially assembled for quicker assembly at an event.
    If you are interested on how I made this, please see my instructional video on how you can Do It Step By Step.

      Thanks! I hope to make more DIY videos very soon. I lost access to the laptop and camcorder I used to produce and edit the videos a year ago and have borrowing equipment.
      I now have a new MacBook and a decent camcorder. Saving up for editing software....

    I'm going to do this for my daughter as well. Thanks for the detailed video! What size screws did you use for the pocket holes/assembly?

      Hi Arron. for mu lumber, I used 2-1/2” Kreg pocket hole for soft wood.

    Could be a lot quicker if the screws was moved to every point and all fasten first time

      Actually by first securing each piece of lumber by not tightening the screws allows each piece of lumber to properly aligned itself with the lumber on either side. This saves time by not having to loosen the screws to realigned lumber that had been tightly secured without the other pieces of lumber on each side.

    And how do you disassemble it again once it stands ? I’m having this issue as we speak now 🥲

    • @doitstepbystep3376
      @doitstepbystep3376  Před 3 lety +1

      I basically "walked" it down to the table to remove the fasteners. You can use the ground, but I would use cardboard or a blanket to protect the wood finish.
