The white car he passes is a 996 GT3, not a 997 GT3. Either way, the builders of this awesome bus are geniuses for coming up with the idea of turning a VW Minibus into a full-on track car which kills super cars. AMAZING!!!

Well, I think it is very impressive. Too bad for the guy putting v8's into mazdas, I don't think a 70/30 front to rear wieght distribution is going to pass any porches! I dream of doing this to my T2 westy, but likely, it will remain with it's original 1.8, or maybe a little TDI for efficiant travelling. I am no driver anyway, just a geeky dreamer. Well, done, all class.
for real man! this van is world wide know for destroying euros, american muscle , italian cars.....this thing is a work of art. ive seen this car run at a race and its so nasty....it even has 6 recaro race seats to take others around in it!Note (race taxi)
In America we spend our time putting V8's into Miata's & RX7's, I guess euro's have a "different" imagination. That van would be great until the novelty of passing porsches wears off & u realize the van handles its weight like a van...and still doesn't pick up the ladies...
Well, if you knew something about something, you would know that a T1 van like you see here is about 220 pounds, add in all your new Porche engine/drive/susp/subframe and you likely still have a 'van' that weighs 2800 lbs, about 5-600 lbs lighter than a 993ttawd. And lighter than an rx with a v8, which is ridiculous anyway. It is so square pegs. If the ladies you pick up are only looking at your car, aren't they going to be dissapointed when you get them into the sack with your 'mini Miata'?

@DSRTK the van was built by the driver. its a posche 911 chassis and engine with a shortened and widened bus shell on.
