Shirley Bassey is the diva of all divas...no other singer or performer can hold a candle to her. She's one in a century...and she's deserving of any award the music industry can bestow upon her. The fact that she's already 87, and still performing is simply unbelievable....astounding!!
What a woman and what a voice! With so many singers, the best of the voice is in the beginning, and they tire throughout the show. Not with Bassey. She starts at the top and continues upwards to the end, which is off the scale. One of a kind and there will never be another like her ❤❤
No matter how many times I watch this, when the trumpets start for the finale, I am surprised. Ok maybe not EVERY time. But I do always burst into tears and I am so happy and sad at the same time. Dame Shirley Bassey was my Grandma's favourite. And mine forever. Thank you for posting.
