It's a very exciting time for anyone interested in Airbnb (which really should be everyone). Airbnb have been a solid company for the last decade and have built a very strong brand name and reputation

Nice Vid so far! Love ur dog :D I was wondering.. why do they even need to go public? What is the profit of that? Sure they gain more money... but what do thy need it for? growth..? Does that even make sense? I mean i´ts not like they need alot of machinery and real estate. it´s "just" software witch is cheap imo
It’s a very good question, my guess is that they can use that capital to advertise, spend on strategic analysis and expansion. They already offer experiences as well as their hotel style listings. Don’t forget, they have thousands of staff, so it’s not as simple as just software. There are always many things going on with large scale businesses. They might branch out and add more innovations and newer business models. I guess time will tell
Pretty cool that they’re going public! Personally going to give them a miss for now, pretty heavy in the travel sector atm, hopefully will start to bounce back soon

I'm personally not a fan of going with the IPO's but I think it will be a good one to keep a close eye on over the next 12 months

They must be needing the cash so badly with all of the recent host support funds, guest refunds and drop in both personal and business travel.
A successful IPO is probably the only way they will survive the next few months, let alone the next few years

Possibly, but I think they are such a strong company, without knowing their full financials though, it’s hard to say. This IPO may be just what they need, just when they need it
